  1. Utomi could be awesome. He's built like a Mack truck w/ a smooth jumper. That's rare. I hope our new coach feels the freedom to do that. I think KD may have felt a little obligation to start both Noah & 'Tino? Idk, but they're both PG's. 'Tino's a Lead Guard, but at 5'10" is awfully short to be considered a 2, let alone guard one. I'd go: PG: Noah / Antino (like you, I prefer Antino, but he's a perfect "Instant O" 6th man) W: Ivey / Parrish W: Utomi / Parrish / Eubanks P: Williams / Poke P: Hughes / Sayles That's a versatile 9-10-man rotation. Gotta pressure & push tempo next year.
  2. I think Big Dog was an assassin. I think it's an "I'm the best player on the court so give me the ball & get out of the way," mentality. But Big Dog was a 6'10" 330-pound assassin so it looked a lot different than a G or W assassin.
  3. Thank you for the clarification. Coach Stewart really intrigues me. He's quickly established UT-Martin as a top mid-major & is a Hoban grad, which I like.
  4. This was an issue during Dambrot's entire tenure. I hope the new coach brings the remedy.

  9. This is fun. Do we have easy lives and live in a great country, or what?!
  10. I wish we could just use common sense and abolish Title 9! Oh, I went there
  11. Very unique for a mid-major. You have to be at the top-of-the-top of the College Basketball Pyramid to have total security. Remember when Roy Williams left Kansas for North Carolina? Dayton's in the same situation we are this year. Try to enjoy it; it's part of college basketball.
  12. I ran out of "Likes" so long ago...
  13. I'm glad to have TDM & Tyler What's-his-name's scholarships back. Hughes? I hope he stays. He was injured and I think he has potential. When healthy he moves really well for a man his size. Plus, we need post players. Guards and wings? Not so much this year.

  15. I woke up this morning excited about Zips basketball again! I had forgotten what that felt like. Go Zips!
  16. Exactly where I'm at, Good Doctor. I'm actually more excited about Zips basketball than I have been for a few years. It had grown very stale.
  17. Good. I have no problem with that except for Thomas.
  18. ^^Regarding Christ Jent. I'd be excited about Jent. I was worried CSU might bring in Jent. Was very relieved when they did not do so.
