If we're going to renovate the JAR I don't think there's any way around this. And that's fine by me. We desperately need a more plush facility. As is, the JAR is embarrassing.

Finally someone mentions a more accurate assessment of Big Dog's weight. To have listed him at 295 was laughable.

Too bad it states that. If you read the thread only 1 or maybe 2 wing nuts want KD fired. Everyone else, rightfully so IMHO, simply want KD to shake things up a little bit.

I wish men's b-ball would just adopt a typical 4 quarters format.

+1. Any upgrades they may or may not do to the JAR should be strictly looked upon as a stop gap measure until they build a new arena. This is another inconvenient truth. Whenever I take a friend to the game & they ask where the restrooms are, I just take them myself because I know it's difficult to find if you don't know where it is. (One restroom?! Are you kidding me?! Jeesh.)

I love him. He hurt his knee (s?) over the summer which may have caused some schools to shy away? Do you know anything about his recruitment?

Just for vanity and as a community phallic symbol, I'd hope we'd at least aim for an 8,000-seat venue.

As it is now you have to be a Zips basketball purist/diehard to go to a game. Neither the venue nor the opponents are a draw.
