I saw him at the Apple Store at Summit Mall. Didn't say, 'What's up,' as he was talking w/ a sales rep, but the dude is the real deal. His shoulders must be literally 2-feet broad & has a little waist. Long arms. Dude's physically legit.

That's what I can't get over. My, how times have changed. Lol

I'm probably too excited & thus overly optimistic but... 1. How many sacks will the Zips' D have? = 3 or more. Defense is gonna be fired up with a lot to prove. They're gonna take it out on the Keydets. 2. How many receiving yards will JoJo have? = 100 yards or more. Woodson is going to be targeting his new weapon & I anticipate JoJo breaking a long one. 3. How many yards rushing will Warren Ball have? = 130 or more. Bowden will keep Ball & our starting OL in the game till into the 4th Quarter to give our guys more time to gel. (D-1 needs to allow scrimmages.)

As do I. I wouldn't want it any other way. Bowden's hilarious. He rambles. He tells it like it is. He's self-deprecating. He's all over the map. He answers each question with a five-minute answer. He goes down rabbit trails and eventually ends up back where the questioner began. He's eccentric. He's intelligent. He's enthusiastic & entertaining. He's committed to Akron. After around 25 years of FBS football the stars finally aligned for us & brought us Coach Bowden.

I think 48 sounds about right, but I'll go 48-3 Edit: That would be if we let it all hang out. We may keep our cards close to the vest so we have some surprises up our sleeve for Wisky next week. If that's the case: 35-3 just running Ball between the tackles. Lol.

And I'll say this again... because I obviously know better than Amato & Bowden. Newman Williams, 6-2, 273. He needs to be at LB or DL. Not 2nd string TE. Get him on the field.

5 observations from a "Soccer for Dummies" reader. 1. Seattle is really good. 2. In the 2nd half the Zips looked absolutely amazing. 3. Hinds is going to be special. 4. We've really found something special in Lundt. Wow. 5. Adam Najem was awfully quiet. (Here's where my Soccer For Dummies soccer knowledge is definitely showing - Najem was named to the Akron Classic All-Tournament Team.)

Any chance the BJ makes Beaven the Zips' beat reporter. Unlike our current beat reporter, Beaven seems to have a little zest for the gig.
