    Not sure how I missed the spread by a point. I may have to tweak my model to include barometric pressure, although I may have incorrectly factored in the rotation of the Earth on this one. Good win over a BAAAAD team.

    You aren't Zach's twin beamed here from some twisted parallel universe are you? The last poster we had who was as enthusiastic as you was also new and told us about a great football player with monster hands. That didn't work out so well. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

    That would have been wrong also. Each additional year he puts into the state retirement system bumps his annual retirement payment by about 2.5%.

    Actually his retirement package is already closer to $500K per year.

    24 wins should get us just edged out of an at large birth by a Big Ten team that finishes with a .500 conference record. Better win the MACC.

    All excellent points. If, in the next 25 years, we get to the point where the football team generates money to plow back into the athletic program rather than surviving by using funds obtained from the University general fund please get back to me.

    One more time. For Akron to nab one of the handful of at large spots handed out to non BCS schools, we have to win out, lose the MACC game, and have about 15 tragic bus accidents involving other teams in our situation.
