  1. Yes, that Toledo road game has me very concerned. Now focusing on a game we will actually be playing, I think we can beat the Bobkittens, but I think it might take overtime again.
  2. I'll be surprised and happy if we go 2-2 in the OOC.
  3. Still, nice work on your part. I believe if you looked for patterns in the rest of the MAC teams scheduling in would improve the accuracy of your predictions.
  4. A fairly soft 2014 conference schedule was released today. I can't recall who it was, but somebody on here pointed out a pattern he had observed for conference games. He even had a multi-colored chart to support his predictions for who would be on our schedule this coming season, and predicted a relatively soft schedule. I tried to locate the thread his post appeared in without success. OK, who are you and how well did your model work?
  5. He's still making over $580 per point scored; pretty darn good.
  6. Actually its because the head has more blood vessels in it than other parts of the body.
  7. Which area bleeds less heavily when gashed?
  8. So basically you are saying the Zips will win by 14. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  9. 2013-14 Bowl Results: Big 10 2-5 MAC 0-5 Go cold weather programs
  10. We won't know for sure until we run the test.
  11. False correlation? A correlation is a correlation. Causation, ah there's another issue. A really good way to test this possibility would be for the coaches to coach free throw shooting to half the team and not the other half. Then at the end of the season, compare the percentage of free throws made by each group.
  12. Aha. No doubt the teachers for several of the posters on this board were never blamed.
  13. If Ohio legalizes pot, a domed Rubber Bowl will provide an excellent 12-month per year grow center. That's it, a grow center is the perfect event to make this thing work out.
  14. He has believed every particle of hot air these idiots have spouted since day 1.
  15. I'm going out on a limb and guess if you didn't get voted "most gullible" in your high school class, you came pretty close to winning.
  16. Well, yesterday it was 2013 and today its 2014, so today is a new year and I was wishing everyone well for the remainder of 2014.
  17. The dreaded post zapper deleted a post in this thread where the names of two Rapscallions who believe they know more than the coaching staff were used. I think just about Everyone here knows to whom other posts were referring, but in the End the post that made the identity of the offenders crystal clear got the ax & I don’t think this is fair. No two ways about it, our moderators could be a lot more moderate. I think, but cannot prove, that a lot less censorship takes place on other sites. Censorship may be required in some cases, but in this case it seemed a bit extreme. Know that some of you will disagree; just my two cents worth. Oh, and Happy New year.
  18. Excellent size for a safety. With his speed that's where he should be.
  19. He seems a tad tall to play CB for us.
  20. Hey, let's cut 71 some slack here. All them schools that begin with K can be confusing for us old guys.
  21. PLUS, all the toilets in our facilities have doors.
  22. We all make mistakes. It's just unfortunate that in this case the staffs mistakes may cost us two scholarships.
  23. In another thread one of our younger posters pointed out how much better the academic situation at Akron is now compared to the pathetic condition it was in when many of you and I were students there. I was skeptical of his assertion, but will be the first to admit the situation at hand provides evidence of an impressive learning environment. Back when I attended, there was no way guys who weren't smart enough to be academically eligible to participate in sports their first year would be smarter than the coach in only two years.
  24. Hey if we locked up both Blake Dennis and this guy, I think that says something.
  25. So, according to previous posts in this thread TB is most known for being the former coach at North Alabama, not as the former coach at Auburn or as an ESPN commentator.
