That's a pretty lame excuse for depriving those of us who rely on him to report the minutes each Zip played in the Testicle Tech game.
Hopefully, he will make this right by revealing the number of minutes he spent on various facets of the renovation project (e.g., 70 - painting, 100 - electrical, etc.).
Yes, almost all college athletic administrators lack imagination. If they didn't, some of them would have already adopted a pay per view model and moved to on demand game start times. The MAC has taken a step in that direction with their mid-week contests, but where does that leave the true college football fan with a hankering to see Tulsa play UMass on Monday at 3 a.m.?
One thing I have noticed in studying minutes per game is that we always seem to play to our opponents' level.
Almost every game I checked out we have 200 minutes which is exactly the same as the team we are playing.
The OU game was an exception.
In that contest we managed to get 210 minutes, but again so did they.
You would think if our coaches were so great that by now we would be getting more minutes per game than our opponents.
The idea of spring football continues to fail to gain traction, perhaps because the change would be too dramatic. Maybe we should get there in small increments. Non BCS schools could move the start of their season up by one week every year for about a dozen years. Then, boom goes the dynamite, you got spring football.
One of the best moves KS.U ever made pretending that they were upset to lose Ford.
About 2.5 years into his gig at Bradley, Geno is rapidly closing in on 60 losses.
I hope things go well for you this term in your "Waking up and smelling the Coffee" class.
It wouldn't matter if we had signed a CB coach seven days ago - he's gone.
I understand that currently we trail only UNLV and Cincinnati in second chances given.
And I seriously doubt Alex will have acquired enough hours to be academically eligible for next season when his 5 year eligibility window closes.
This isn't even close. The Sea hawks have one guy on their practice squad who played in the MAC. The Broncos have two guys on their practice squad and 2 guys on their active roster. This boils down to a 14 point advantage for Denver.
If we wait for over a million years to bring him back I'm concerned his skills may have deteriorated to the point where he would not be that valuable to the team. Of course with medical advances over that period of time some pretty impressive cybernetics could be installed to offset the aging process.
