  1. TAT-TOON STAR Newcastle star DeAndre Yedlin reveals his troubled family history
  2. BTW, to avoid misconceptions, as I recall DeA did not leave Sunderland by his own choice. He was on loan to Sunderland from Tottenham. It was Tottenham that made the deal with NUFC.
  3. No. I just meant I'm happy Newcastle is doing well and especially with DeA's grandparents visiting and attending matches. NUFC didn't do well early in the season.
  4. Sweet victory for Newcastle. So happy for DeAndre and his grandparents who are currently in England!

  8. I don’t understand the specifics. Just that Ger is staying. None of our coaches are leaving.
  9. I heard that the coaching position that was posted was Ger Coppinger’s. I understand that since his Visa had to be renewed, the position had to be posted. Great news...he is staying.

  11. I couldn't help but think back to the start of this piece when I saw that Abdi Mohamed is transferring to Akron...
  12. Not sure this is apparent to others as to why you posted this. Abdi Mohamed indicated on his twitter account (@_abdi_1) yesterday that he is transferring to Akron for the 2018 season.(thanks to TennZip for finding that).
  13. Thanks Steve1982. I was wondering the same as TennZip when this thread was first started. Zips Mens Soccer has been missing that one position since the Scar... I think Soccer Operations.
  14. I liked this above, but Like is not strong enough for this! LOVE this!!! ...Joao Moutinho has started all three games that LAFC have played this season, and has played 263 of a possible 270 minutes of game time. His defensive efforts have made him a standout rookie this season, earning the fullback honors as SBI MLS Rookie of the Month. ... The Akron product has made his mark on MLS so far, starting in defense for one of the most exciting teams in the league. Time will tell if Bob Bradley continues to put faith in the young fullback, but for now he seems bent on impressing this season. ...
  15. You might want to clear your cache. I'm with TennZip...I don't see a posting for Men's Soccer. There's only a Women's Soccer Assistant that shows up on the site for me.
  16. Looks like we have another 2019 commitment (verbal)...
  17. Awesome! I was there last night, too. So great to have all 3 former Zips start, and 2 go full time with Nagbe subbed out very late. It was well worth the 8 hour drive each way! 3rd time I saw Darlington play on that field. 2/3 were the right result!
  18. According to US Soccer, yes, on FS1... https://www.ussoccer.com/mens-national-team/schedule-tickets
  19. Nick Hinds scores his first goal as a pro...the winning goal in a 2-1 victory
