Peterson and Joyce had a curfew violation. Peterson also missed a practice last week.

Seems to me King Zip, that you are the CEO of the Zips Negativity Club. Most of your recent posts are all negative. Go back to bed and don't ruin it for the rest of us that are enjoying this ride.

WOW! CAN WE GET ANY MORE NEGATIVE AROUND HERE??? Our band stinks. Our cheers are awful. Our RPI is undeserving. Our floor is bad. The announcers are awful. French and Dunn are pitiful. Our marketing sucks. Why did we have to change our colors? Why is Dambrot on our poster? You would have never thought, with all this negativity on this board, that it is MAC tournament time and the Zips have finally made it past the first round! Wow, and all we can do is complain???? I have no complaints. The Zips have far exceeded my expectations. Kudos to KD and his staff for their successes this year. Let's Go Zips! Let's win it all!!!!

It's the first night of the MAC tournament, shouldn't we be trying to hype this community up and get fans to the JAR? Let's do it by having such a negative headline and article in the paper!!!! Whether or not some players are happy with playing time or not, KD will play the kids he feels WILL win him the game. This is not CYO ball where the minutes are divided up equally. It is plain and simple this season that you have to earn your minutes. Give it all you you got in practice and give it all you got at game time. I don't get why we finally have a team that's winning and there's always someone out there to start hashing up negatives. Can't we just enjoy the ride and let the coaches do their jobs. Afterall, what they are doing is working so far - they must be doing something right. Let's keep it going ZIPS! Beat Can't!

I think I heard French say something about Elton Alexander during the game. I think Elton was there.

It was never close. We were up by 24 at the half. Then we were up by as much as 32.

I don't think they are as worried about his nose as they are about a pretty bad concussion.....

It was Darryl Peterson, not Joyce, that was hit in the face during practice. He did have a concussion and broke his nose in 2 places.

I heard KD's post-game interview also. Personally, I don't think he was singling out anyone. He simply stated a couple mistakes that took place and how they just had to work a little harder to correct those mistakes in the future.

No wonder we can't get more people in the JAR. There is just NO EXCITEMENT around here! C'mon Akron, our Zips are exceeding all of our expectations! At least mine anyway! Let's show some spirit! I. for one. can't wait until Tuesday when we beat Ball State and continue our home winning streak! I can't wait to see our record go to 12-5 and slowly make the climb upwards! This is the most fun I've had watching the ZIPS in a long, long time!!!!! Join me - won'tcha please!!!!!

Here are my views as we enter the last half of the season: First of all, I am SURPRISED at how well the Zips have survived the loss of Jeremiah. I am IMPRESSED by the toughness and resiliency of this team. I LOVE the fact that they play hard the entire game. I am IMPRESSED by the different people stepping up every game. I am surprised by their continued defensive improvement. Can the Zips be there at the end for a MAC East championship???? What are your thoughts? Have the Zips met your expectations so far or have they already exceeded them?
