Down here in Massillon the BTN is showing Columbus State/Youngstown State instead of Akron/WI There should be two BTN channels. The main one in Akron is showing the Pengiuns game, while the alternate feed will be showing the ZIPS.I would check to see if you get both channels.

It's never too early for one of these threads.The latest example of the failure of the 3-3-5 defense is the Buffalo vs. UTEP game, which Buffalo won 42-17. Guess which team ran our style of defense?It's fine as a package to use occasionally, against a pass-oriented team. But against a running team, like Wisconsin, Syracuse, Can't, or Ohio, we're done for. We're equally screwed when facing a scrambling QB, as shown last year when we got torched by Indiana and UConn, not to mention CMU.The ONLY way is will work is if we can get consistent pressure on the QB, which was a huge problem. Hopefully Bain will allow for some improvement there.

A game at PITT?!? Far more desirable than a game with Mississippi State.I can't wait until the schedule is released in full. Don't forget, Dayton and Winthrop will be coming to the JAR this winter.

The only newspaper around ehre to not write a season preview for the Zips is the one located about 50 feet from them.I'm feeling pretty good, seeing that the local papers who can actually send people to our camp to see what's going on have a much higher opinion of the team than the people who pull stuff out of their ass on a national level. We'll sneak up on a few teams this year, like Syracuse (who believes us to be on the same level as the terrible Northeastern) and Ball State (a win over them would really get the confidence flowing heading into the MAC season).
