Usually, Coach Bowden talks about each recruit while they play high lights on a screen. I've never seen a recruit at one of the press conferences. They usually sign in the morning and fax the LOIs to the football office. Here's what was in the latest release from the AD:

According to his Twitter, RB Davonte Winnick from East Tech HS in Cleveland has committed to Akron. Not too much info to be found on him, but here's his highlights.

It should have. When the Can't players disrupted Akron's huddle (intentionally, to talk smack), a technical should have been called, giving Akron a free throw and the ball on our end of the court with 1.6 seconds left. There is no interpretation of the rules where that should not be considered a technical foul.

Good. OL is a need for this recruiting class. Also, hearing we might have a shot at Anthony Clark, from Buchtel HS. He's a 3* DE.

According to his local ESPN outlet, Kyron Brown's commitment to Akron remains solid, despite him taking a visit to UMass.

Apparently whoever it is is already out recruiting. Kyron Brown said that Akron's new DB coach visited him on Wednesday.

Hopefully. Anybody have a guess as to who it will be? Perhaps a former player?

Akron has much more balanced scoring than Ohio does.
