    We dropped from 35 when I typed that. I think what you see with the leading schools is involvement from those schools' athletic marketing. Not sure why UA's isn't in on it yet.

    Dambrot used to go on about his players having (or sometimes lacking) "mental toughness". This season, the "mental toughness" factor is at an all-time low.

    I'd feel more confident if I knew for certain that we weren't going to rely mostly on 3-pointers to win. We have a tremendous frontcourt advantage in this game, but I can't shake the feeling that we won't exploit it as much as we should.

    All I want is for the team and players to be a little more dynamic, especially on offense. Consistently good ball movement, and players that are more than one-dimensional threats when it comes to scoring.

    We moved up about 40 spots to 45th. There are a couple ways to vote. Sign into ncaa.com with a facebook account and then vote that way. Tweet #6thfan and #Akron in the same tweet, retweet any other tweet with that hashtag combo. You can do both to get in two votes a day. We should at least lead the MAC.

    Marshall might be the best team on the non-conference schedule, and we get them at home.

    First time since 2007 that we get to play every MAC East team.

    53 fouls called. Can't judge anything when the officials screw up the flow of the game so severely.

    Ball State is the only truly horrible team in the MAC this season. I'm looking for continued contributions from Harney, Betancourt, and the freshmen. We need to get them more involved.

    The fact that we don't have a player committed, and we don't even have any new offers out there for this scholarship leads me to believe that it's almost certainly going to a transfer student.

    The Browns front office wants a "yes man" for their next head coach. Chud didn't get along well with Lombardi (I can't blame him), and had different ideas about how to use the talent he had. I don't think Tressel would want to work in that kind of environment. The Browns front office is even more incompetent than they were under the Lerners.
