the biggest disappointment for me is allowing them 2nd and 3rd opportunities, and few offensive rebounds. When they are shooting 70% and you give them 2nd and 3rd tries, what do you think that takes their effective shooting percentage to?

I don't think they look nervous, I feel better about the game now than I did before the start. I'm feeling confident that they will settle in and make a run. Those ten second calls won't happen much more, they are passing fairly well, that's what I like.

St. Mary's just played one heck of a game to lose in the final seconds. Memphis squeaks out of a physical game.

Outside of our own UA, what's everyone's upset predictions? Here's mine for this round. Midwest 9 Missouri over 8 Colorado St. (not much of an upset but going by seeding) 10 Cinci over 7 Creighton West 11 Belmont over 6 Arizona (thought about this one a lot) 10 Iowa St over 7 Notre Dame South 12 Akron over 5 VCU (Gotta include it) 10 Oklahoma over 7 San Diego St. (watch out if you're a 7 seed, lol ) East NONE

It is amazing, every year I think there is going to be a drop off with players leaving, but KD has a great eye for talent. I am always impressed with how the underclassmen assume critical roles within our system. Something tells me that we're just beginning our ascent to becoming a major player in college hoops. That is if we can get the funding to build a proper venue for the high profile recruits that we will be looking at in a few years.

Can I get a 0.5% cut of that?

You make a lot of good points here, I think CB can put a solid 20-25 minutes in if we work on his conditioning. Zeke and Tree are going to give you their best every night, Harney needs to stick to what he's best at (yet avoiding offensive fouls). However, I don't want to speculate on which freshman will have the better career. I absolutely LOVE this freshman class, I think that there is great upside to all of them, none more so than Forsythe. I hope that Pat comes to play in the tourney. That being said, we need Walsh to step up in a big way. I have no doubt that he can handle whatever we throw at him. He is a veteran leader that has a great basketball IQ. If him, CB and Chauncey play their best, we don't miss Abreu.

If the ref's call it right is my concern. Akron tends to get the raw end of a lot of questionable calls. I am for player safety, I'm just not sure I trust MAC refs to identify those calls.

I'm glad we have a few byes to get our PG situation sorted out. A.A.'s loss is a big blow, but maybe we have enough time to put a patch on it. Also, props to Chauncey for looking close to 100%. I did like how several people stepped up, and showed a lot of heart. Alex made plays, but was turnover prone too.

If Betancourt stays in, I think we pull it off. I give him a mulligan, he had a huge burden thrust upon him today. I think he's gonna be fine.

So, I guess I missed a lt today. What can I say? I'm disappointed in Alex, I don't know what he's guilty of other than being around the wrong people, but that in itself is enough. When you are supposed to be a leader, you have to realize that you represent more than yourself. That being said, I wish the best for him. I wish the best for everyone (except fans of our cross town rivals). I don't care what he did, he put himself in a place that represents our brand poorly. I hope that he gets himself straightened out, but I do hope that KD makes him part ways regardless. I hope that He's successful in life, but the damage that he's caused is irreparable.
