Who said anything about the severity of the crime/violation? Oviously the PSU thing warrants jail time vs. sanctions. I'm talking purely about how many people were willing to keep their mouths shut and overlook the violations. In OSU's case, almost the whole organization knew what's going on. In PSU's case, I was simply stating that there weren't nearly as many people keeping their issues under wraps. Free tats vs child rape. PB1719 is not comparing them, let's make that clear.

I understand, and agree. However, there were a whole lot more people involved at OSU, and when it finally came out, they fought tooth and nail to keep out all of the details. I beleive only 4-5 people at PSU were privy to that information.

Please share with me where it is. Here as an Akron fan I missed it. I can see it, I beleive OSU is the most unethical school in the FBS. I also agree with GP1, SEC teams generally will assist a student athlete find a new home if their talent doesn't meet expectations, as long as they are in good standing with the school.

I've heard a lot of negativity involvin our QB situation, but honestly I don't know if we have much talent there. If the receivers caught the balls that hit their hands, and the offensive line held long enough for them to drop back and look down field, I'd make an attempt to judge their play. I'd love to see a few good O-line recruits that could start 3-4 years here, then we'll see what we have. I'm not sure Cam Newton or Drew Brees could play well (on this team) with the lack of production at other positions.

The defense held pretty well considering how long they were on the field. Nicely lacks accuracy, the running game needs to be more consistent.

I feel if we can at least recruit the best O-line, FB/ H-back, and at least a reasonable RB, we can win at least 4 MAC games through ball control. A solid ground game would make it easier to pass, one thing leads to another.. all of a sudden we're winning. The defense would be better if they don't spend so much time on the field.
