  1. The Bulls played a lot of cover one in the first half. Give credit where credit is due. AJ and TW13 (receivers/o-line) beat a defense that was trying to stop our run game with (vertical passing attack) good play calling and execution. The second half, the Bulls adjusted their defense, and the Zips started to have success running the ball. Good game plan, good execution. The offense took what the defense was giving. Nice to see the offense take the pressure off the defense. With the maturity of TW13, the offense has evolved into a passing team that sets up our running game. Fun time to be a Zip fan.

“I think Tommy’s ability to hit our explosive plays … that’s where we’re trying to evolve to,” -- Terry Bowden source

Edit: Sorry Jrship, I just went back and read this. I guess we had the same evaluation.

  5. I know a team that likes MAC players that needs a safety with a high football IQ. I'm sure they will be at his pro day and have him in for a visit. JB1 projects as a late rounder right now.

NFL prospect Jatavis Brown answers some questions.

What NFL Scouts are saying “He's probably a safety at our level because of his size so we'll see how that transition goes. But I love his speed, the way he plays with violence and just the way he carries himself out there. I know our special teams coach will be excited to get his hands on him.” – AFC North scout

  6. I wanted to include the question, "When will be the first time the Zips call an off tackle play for a RB?" I thought keeping track may be too difficult. Maybe for a tie breaker, you can guess the time of game that happens in this thread. It will be tough to determine though, and might be controversial.

  7. They try to get you to sign up.

Probably a bad idea to do that on a pirate site.

You don't need to sign up for anything, but you need to keep closing out of ads by hitting the "proper" x. If you have never used it before, just be very careful. Don't let anything download. I used to use this site, but have not for a long time. Too much squeeze for the juice. Way better alternatives now a days. I've never tried the wiziwig site. I'll give it a shot tonight.

The game is on ESPN3, it says "your event is about to begin" right now. Like LoyalZip writes, starts at 8.

  8. I wish they would let us hear what questions are being asked...

They could add the question in text over the video. For a couple different reasons, its tough to mic everybody in the room as well as coach. I'm still happy to hear coach speak every week, even without the questions being heard.
