  1. I'll predict that one of the guys coming off the bench will start playing well at some point during the season. A ZN member will suggest that the player should be starting. A ZN member will argue that it doesn't matter who starts, and that player provides a spark off the bench. He will probably cite some sixth man of the year stat. Another ZN member will argue that if that player starts, he would score more points to help the team. Another ZN member will argue that even if he starts he isn't going to get anymore minutes.

Warming up...and it's only November.

  2. EA of the PD - Akron Looking to Reach .500

Saturday's matchup will be a look at two young quarterbacks in Akron sophomore Tommy Woodson and Miami true freshman Billy Bahl. Both QBs became starters during the season and are coming off victories, as Akron defeated UMass last week and Miami took down Eastern Michigan. Both are also best described as being on the hefty side of the ledger. The 6-4, 248-pound Bahl has passed for 1,050 yards, 5 TD and 11 interceptions this season. However, the last three weeks he has passed for 543 yards, 3 TD and 1 INT.

  3. I don't know if you can buy tickets from the Akron ticket office, it may be only online or through Can't State.

Tickets for this cancer-fighting event at Can't State are available for purchase online at www.coachesvscancer.org/neodoubleheader and at each University's ticket office. In addition, five dollars from each ticket sold will help support cancer patients and their families through the American Cancer Society. source

  4. How is CMU 'mediocre'?

Brian Pedersen from BR ranked all 128 teams Tuesday.

    Oklahoma-10, Toledo-35, BG-40, Pitt-42, NIU-53, WMU-63, CMU-72, UB-87, OU-94, AKRON-95, KS-110, Miami-125, EMU-127

    -------------------------------Good teams------------------------------Average teams-----------------------------Bad teams----------------------------

My example is not completely accurate, but you get the idea.
