Printing the two designs on more sheets than they would ever use, might cost fifteen hundred bucks (high end).Probably because they would have to buy new decals every time they wanted to switch the design. -
I would like to see Joe wear the helmet during the entire show.
He will look cool, AND he will sound like Lord Vader if properly mic'd.

The Zips were underdogs only 6 times last season. The only time they won as an underdog was against Ohio.btw, for anyone who thinks or believes that the Zips are underdogs, please visit Coach Dambrot for some mind alterationtherapy.

THIS is the play you run in Ann Arbor when it's 3rd and 1 at the Michigan 2 late in the 4th quarter.
Not Chisholm outside for a two yard loss.
Thanks B&G, I enjoyed that! Good to see the team having fun.is pretty sweet. Gave me goosebumps. It's Terry Bowden in the locker room after the Miami win. -
Again, I just don't understand with all the useless stats in sports, how is it that 'snap count' is not one in NCCA football? I would LOVE to know snap counts after each game. It helps me evaluate who, and how we scheme from week to week.
Sorry for the constant Steeler reference, but it's what I know. Here is a nice example of using snap count to support an article.

Absolutely. Ianello's teams were money makers. Bowden is too hard. I'll stick with KD, he is predictable money maker. Are you saying unpredictable is the only predictable? -
Zach could have pinned the Huskies deep twice yesterday in critical situations and kicked the ball into the end zone resulting in minimal field position exchange. He was no MVP yesterday. I liked the change at punt returner.Aside from Zips MVP Zach Paul -
IMO Pohl doesn't help himself out. He abandons his pocket prematurely too many times. If he stands tall in the pocket and steps into his throws, he is accurate. Maybe he thinks he is trying to protect his injury. When he starts moving, he loses his effectiveness. Play calling to start the game was improved yesterday.Pohl is playing on a bad wheel and I really do think that is having an affect. A shame Hirschman hurt himself celebrating on the kind of play we sorely needed today. -
It's safe to say the majority of ZN has little idea from week to week what coach Bowden's team will do on the field.

Agreed.Pretty good announcers today for the UA-NIU game. -
Fast off edge, needs work on run support / tackling technique. He's been very fast off the edge and now he has a chance to take back his starting position and maybe get noticed by a scout or two. -
Unfortunately for the Zips, there has been no word on senior defensive end C.J. James, who didn’t play last week against Ohio and still hasn’t had his NCAA eligibility issue cleared up. He is able to practice with the team, but cannot travel or play.

Can We Really Support a League Which Has Caused so Much Harm to Its Players?
Steve Fainaru and Mark Fainaru-Wada, working together with the Frontline folks and other journalists, told the story of an NFL that spent almost two decades stonewalling, blackballing and bullying everyone who looked into the connection between football and brain injuries. From broken-hearted widows and teary-eyed children to doctors and scientists at the very peak of their professions, the NFL shunned and belittled them all. The players and their families were pushed aside and silenced by NFL leadership. The league smeared the doctors and scientists working to understand the truth, publicly trying to discredit their work.
Bonus story: Tax Exempt NFL?

I thought this was done well.

BJ uses this as his twitter photo. Wonder if Yankees fans will be mad?LBJ came to open gym today with the players. I'm sure none of them cared -
Top result when googling "forum etiquette"@Big Zip, so you're now the champion of etiquette on ZN.o? -
Does this help with making a selection?

Good thing they have the game audio in the stadium bathroom.I’m thinking about spicy, habanero potato pancakes myself. -
Ooooohh, I see what you did there, very clever. When the smoke clears you will like where the Zips finish. -
Anybody watch Frontline "League of Denial" last night?
Here is some video of it. You will find it at the very least, slightly interesting.
You can watch all of it here.

This was posted in the 2013 Tailgaiting Beer thread. Probably deserves it's own thread though, since the beer thread is specifically about beer. There are a few comments in the beer thread you can read if you like though.
I like that they included 8 photos in the article.

Thank you! I didn't want to be the first to point that out.Big Dog (I hate that nickname btw)I think of that clown at browns games barking like Arsenio Hall when I hear that name.
I'm not as worried as some of you guys about the loss of Zeke. Numerous times over the years when Zeke was in foul trouble and wasn't on the floor, the team did fine defensively. My concerns with KD, has always been, and continues to be, offense.

The Zips’ defense dealt with a severe loss against Ohio when defensive end C.J. James, who leads the team with six tackles for loss, didn’t play because of an NCAA eligibility issue. At issue is credits, Bowden said. “He’s practicing but it’s an eligibility issue that came up,” he said. “It’s not in our offices; it’s in the administrative offices. They’re talking to people and trying to figure out what the situation is. They’re trying to be cautious
