  1. THIS is the play you run in Ann Arbor when it's 3rd and 1 at the Michigan 2 late in the 4th quarter.

Not Chisholm outside for a two yard loss. :wall:

is pretty sweet. Gave me goosebumps. It's Terry Bowden in the locker room after the Miami win.
Thanks B&G, I enjoyed that! Good to see the team having fun.
  2. Aside from Zips MVP Zach Paul
Zach could have pinned the Huskies deep twice yesterday in critical situations and kicked the ball into the end zone resulting in minimal field position exchange. He was no MVP yesterday. I liked the change at punt returner.
  3. Pohl is playing on a bad wheel and I really do think that is having an affect. A shame Hirschman hurt himself celebrating on the kind of play we sorely needed today.
IMO Pohl doesn't help himself out. He abandons his pocket prematurely too many times. If he stands tall in the pocket and steps into his throws, he is accurate. Maybe he thinks he is trying to protect his injury. When he starts moving, he loses his effectiveness. Play calling to start the game was improved yesterday.
  4. Can We Really Support a League Which Has Caused so Much Harm to Its Players?

Steve Fainaru and Mark Fainaru-Wada, working together with the Frontline folks and other journalists, told the story of an NFL that spent almost two decades stonewalling, blackballing and bullying everyone who looked into the connection between football and brain injuries. From broken-hearted widows and teary-eyed children to doctors and scientists at the very peak of their professions, the NFL shunned and belittled them all. The players and their families were pushed aside and silenced by NFL leadership. The league smeared the doctors and scientists working to understand the truth, publicly trying to discredit their work.

    Bonus story: Tax Exempt NFL?

  5. Big Dog (I hate that nickname btw)
Thank you! I didn't want to be the first to point that out.

I think of that clown at browns games barking like Arsenio Hall when I hear that name.

I'm not as worried as some of you guys about the loss of Zeke. Numerous times over the years when Zeke was in foul trouble and wasn't on the floor, the team did fine defensively. My concerns with KD, has always been, and continues to be, offense.

  6. The Zips’ defense dealt with a severe loss against Ohio when defensive end C.J. James, who leads the team with six tackles for loss, didn’t play because of an NCAA eligibility issue. At issue is credits, Bowden said. “He’s practicing but it’s an eligibility issue that came up,” he said. “It’s not in our offices; it’s in the administrative offices. They’re talking to people and trying to figure out what the situation is. They’re trying to be cautious
