DW needs to settle his feet in the pocket.

70 degrees and zero chance of rain in Knoxville at kickoff. Should be perfect for our high tempo offense!
Wishing I were there right now. Keener & ZipsWin, drink one for me.

Tennessee broadcast can be found on Sirius 112 this evening.
Home broadcast can be listened to on iHeart radio on your computer, iPod, or iPad.

Some folks like to watch the low quality feed here.

The good news is that coach Bowden agrees with you. He went out of his way on his show to point this out.Tailgating is a very important part of the event and experience.PS The more you put into tailgating, the more you get out. Nobody can stop you from having an awesome experience.

The Zips offense gets the ball in the hands of the receiver quickly. Our QB does not need a lot of time in most cases when he drops back....what makes any of us think that we will even have the time to get the passes off ??? Sorry guys but VOLS win 63-7.Will the Vols be able to get pressure on the Zips QB if he stands back there for 6.5 seconds...probably. Will the QB still have the ball in his hands...probably not.

The Zips lead the Mid-American Conference in total offense at 496.3 yards per game and passing offense at 378.0, and rank second in scoring offense with 39.3 points per game and first downs with 28 per game. QB Dalton Williams is the main reason. He ranks second in the nation with 10 touchdown passes and fourth in passing yards with 1,004 yards and fifth in passing yards per game at 334.7.Zips Report - Yahoo Seems optimistic. The Akron defense is greatly improved under coordinator Chuck Amato. The Zips rank 14th in the nation in passing defense at 160.6 yards per game, and are second in the conference in total defense at 342.3 yards per game.

Stick to bragging about wins...while it lasts.

Holy smokes!O/U at 63.5 to 65.5, depending on the house.
Did they just base that number on our last meeting total?
-
I liked the days when we didn't have to use the word "potential," and talked about playoffs.
I wish the owner and the GM had "potential." Worst run organization in baseball.
Hats off to Akron for winning under these circumstances.

Yeah, they are really missing the #5 overall pick, and a #15 overall pick!?!?.... trades like U-bad-o that rape the system.Rape? More like a favor taking the Indians #1 picks away from them.
Worst decade (or more) of drafting I have ever seen in a franchise!
How can anybody be that bad at their job and continue to get a pay check?

As bad as Ubaldo has been, combine both these clowns win totals and multiply it by three to get Ubaldo's win total (9)!?!?

The Zips deserve their stats the way any BS scheduling BCS team "deserves" theirs. The blowout win sure has skewed a few NCAA FBS stats in favor of the Zips! -
Unbelievable with the lack of talent on that team. I went to a game this year and it was almost unwatchable.

Not Available Yet I'm interested to see the O/U. Guess which one I like?

Agreed, loved Suel from day one. It amazes me how many plays Suel stands on the sideline. Bowden sure uses a heavy rotation at WR. I went to the Steelers game yesterday, amazingly Haley does the same with Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown. I was shocked by how many plays they were both standing next to Haley during the game. I'm guessing that this is due to both teams playing an up tempo rhythm-type offense. I would like to see the amount of snaps Suel had vs total offensive snaps. I also noticed Marquelo lined up in the slot a lot on Saturday.4. As I said in another thread, the WR corps look to be interchangeable and productive. Some pretty nice depth here, but Marquelo Suel continues to stand out to me.

What offensive recruit would not want to play on this offense? Burn the phones up this week.
Coach: "Hello, [recruit name here] take a look at our box score this week, call me back after you do"
-
Thank you coach Bowden. Great marketing yesterday! That is what will draw fans...exciting games.

Filming in certain public places still require some permissions. I would guess filming inside the stadium required such a permission.Just wondering -- because it is a public university - maybe they have to give permission to film inside? -

For those interested, FIU is a 17 point UNDERDOG to Central Florida this week.

For those of you that are Leinenkugel Summer Shandy fans.
I tried another Shandy last night that I loved, Curious Traveler by Boston Beer Company

I remember someone complaining about showing highlights and KD talking over them during basketball season. I really enjoy hearing coach Bowden talk over the highlights. He can tell you so much in such a little time. You actually learn things when you hear him speak. I would really like to see him telestrate some plays. I would also like to see coach Amato do the same. Does a host slow TB down? Can/should he do the show himself? I can't imagine watching that show without DVRing it, the commercials are ponderous!Hope someone wants the show to improve. It won't take much effort to get it to a high level.PS Just as the basketball show, my DVR (set at first run only) records every show during the week, is this STO's fault? How hard is it to fix the metadata?

How many times can you ask the question, do we have anybody else on defense? Time to step up the quality of the questions. This isn't Ianello anymore. Coach Bowden really doesn't need press questions to talk about the game, but holly cow, if it was my job to ask him questions, I would bet I could come up with a few on the drive over. Embarrassing.
Thanks for posting JZ, I can't get enough of listening to TB.
