Away Games: FIU, Tenn, Can't State, Ohio, Temple, Toledo Home Games: UCF, Morgan St, Buffalo, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, UMass I would expect to win 4 or 5 games just because of the scheme, and an experienced coach. We lack the talent depth that coach Bowden will recruit in the next years to make us a consistent winner. To answer the question, 4 wins or more will make me happy. But its also about competitiveness and style of play on the field. I want to be competitive in games, and I want to be entertained. I want to see progress throughout the year and I want to see a system in place that takes advantage of the talent on the team. September 8th will be a good measuring stick against FIU if we don't beat UCF.

Interesting perspective. Nike Sterilizes Uniforms with Gray Many teams will be wearing gray -- oh, sorry, PLATINUM -- at some point this season. Nike teamed up with a bunch of universities, primarily because Nike has lot of employees with a lot of time on their hands and is obsessed with this gray/platinum trend way more than it should be. Because of this, nine teams will don these generic, already-out-of-vogue uniforms. Other schools duped into the marketing ploy include Arizona, UConn, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, both the men's and women's North Carolina teams and the Baylor women's hoops squad. Here's the thing -- they're not even that ugly. It'd be one thing if these threads were Oregon's court reincarnated, but they're just ... boring-looking, nondescript from the past half-decade of altering team jerseys up and down the grayscale.

That is not how I would describe what happened last night.

Brett is struggling this year and he knows it. That was obvious by his own comments on the Keith Dambrot Show two Mondays ago. Something tells me he hits a big shot at the Q due to his experience there. I wish him luck, he seems like a nice guy.
