Speaking of Morrison, I thought the game plan of guarding him with a bunch of different Zips was solid for
most of the game, then it seemed like he decided he wanted to win and it didn't matter who guarded him.
He is a PTP'er.
I was impressed how well OR played defense in the paint against us, seemed like they made a concerted
effort to take the charge against us. Wonder if that resulted in the staff studying some tape, or just coincidence.
I enjoyed the announcing yesterday, nice informative job. I enjoy the games a lot better with a good tv crew.
They did a good job of explaining a few things (violent action review), and the analysis of plays was fair and intelligent.
One last thought, I read here somewhere that OR didn't play good D against our 3 point shooting, the Zips just shot bad.
I'm not sure OR was real worried about our 3 point shot since they went to a 2-3 zone. They pretty much baited us into
shooting threes and the Zips obliged by missing. Is that good D? Seem to work. A couple of quick threes and they would
have got right out of the zone, but there was no need because we couldn't hit a three.
I hope the team and staff can regroup, learn from this game, and put a run together.
