I feel the same about Hakeem. 6. Cleveland Browns PICK: Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa State The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Butler is proving to be one of the best mismatch receivers in college football. Not only does he win with his size, but he also does so with balance and strength, often running for many yards after the catch, which is why he’s averaging over 22.0 yards per catch for the season, with six touchdowns to boot. At his size, Butler’s style of dominance over cornerbacks, at times, reminds me of A.J. Green. I think Green was more explosive of an athlete laterally, but I do think their play styles are similar, and I believe their ability to win one-on-one matchups can come in a lot of the same ways. Butler has never had a 1,000-yard receiving season in college, but neither did Green. Both were underutilized, but when targeted, were difference makers consistently. For that, I think Butler’s a future No. 1 in the NFL, as long as he works to perfect what his craft can be.

Huskies favored by 4.5. I have not watched an NIU game this year, but just looking at the stats (which is always a terrible idea) below, the teams seem very similar.

The Zips won by seven totaling 303 yards of offense, Van out rushed Kato by himself, and Nate Stewart led receivers with 62 yards. @zzx comes close, but no winners this week. Better luck this week. Poll will be appear Tuesday for the Thursday game.

The refs said he bumped into an official. As Brady walked by me he said "who the heck did I bump into?" I didn't see it (other side of the field), so I can't reply. I thought he played one of his better games before having to leave.

Maverick Wolfley is a good receiving option.

Thursday game will be televised by CBS Sports Network. The White Out game will kick off at 7 pm.

There are approximately 299 NCAA Division I baseball programs with each team being allowed to offer a maximum of (11.7) scholarships. Under NCAA rules, these 11.7 scholarships can be divided between a maximum of 27 players, with all players on athletic scholarship having to receive a minimum of a 25% scholarship. To compete for athletic scholarships at the Division I level, you will want to have video and an online presence to be evaluated and identified. Division I programs start recruiting very early in the process and verbal offers and commitments are made earlier at the Division I level than any other level. source

Fearless Forecast: anybody with the last name Davis that plays on the Akron D causes a turnover.

Yes, I like it! Anybody that gets all questions correct and makes another "Fearless Forecast" in this thread, gets special acknowledgment! Keep em coming.

• Hoping to get Brian Bell back this week. He is one of the keys to our defense. • Seniors have never lost to Kent • Had a good practice today • Kato had rubber beads from the turf in his eyes multiple times from sliding. • Keyondre White is the number one young guy because he was here in December and got tons of snaps. • We are not running well enough, no explosive plays. We have to continue to work on it. We are close, but not close enough. • Spoke of the 12th game still being a possibility, but says he has no idea about specifics.

Kent was 115th in the nation allowing 205 yards a game on the ground before they played the Zips. Our running backs amassed 52 yards on 21 carries (2.48 yds avg) in that game. While I hope this is ground-game breakthrough week, I'm not banking on it. If the offensive plan, and blocking is the same, I expect the same result. If you could find a stat for just total running back yards per team this year, it would shock me if we weren't in the bottom three in the country. Six running backs have carried the ball 106 times for 390 yards this year (3.68 yds avg). At this rate, our entire running backs group won't get to a thousand yards for the season. At the beginning of the year coach Bowden talked about how important the running game would be this year. Thus far, it has to be a major disappointment for he and the staff. The running game will become even more important with the weather becoming colder throughout the MAC. November games count the most, time to pound the ground!

Cool. Not sure we can cork our bats like he did, but we should be able to wear those goggles. Trivia, only one of six to ever get caught using a corked bat.
-
Zips favored by six and a half here.

Like coach has said multiple times, he is not obligated to report injuries, but Bell shows up on this pseudo-list. Hope he is well for this weeks game, turnovers haven’t been the same in his absence.

Zips win by less than six, the Zips running backs only had fifty-two yards rushing, the Golden Flash offense scores three touchdowns, the Akron defense does not create a turnover and only gets one sack. No ZipNation member selected this game scenario this week, but we are all winners when the Wagon Wheel stays where it belongs!

I have not, but Nebraska finalized an agreement in less than a month to play Bethune-Cookman next weekend, and Nebraska isn't even good at football. I think it could be done.
