  1. My wife's company is and they are paying top dollar for those freaks. I bet they get a well organized, good looking site that customers will appreciate.
  2. Anybody making their first trip to MSG, set your expectations lower. I was not impressed with MSG when I went. It's the oldest arena in the NHL, and looks like it to me.
  3. I think they need to keep sliding the pieces. Seriously doesn't anybody hire designers for web sites?
  4. Great story. Learned tons. Where in the Sam h**l is the video!?!?
  5. Myles to Pitt Akron not even considered. Hilliard, 17 next month, said he had been considering West Virginia, Syracuse, Cincinnati and Michigan State.
  6. I bet if Pryor was able to get a job, he would have been satisfied with that money, and not did anything illegal.
  7. Thanks for info GZ.
  8. Love him, or hate him, he is cashing in off your attention. Here is an article that compares his Akron & Coconut Grove mansions.
  9. Anybody watch this that can give us a few lines? I'm not holding my breath on STO's video archive page.
  10. How bout this '63? Might not be practical in the winter, but plenty of headroom.
  11. They would be right.
  12. Well done! That's pretty funny. Was that some kind of answer to the ?
  13. I know I miss the Canton/Akron beer prices and talent. I blame LBJ.
  14. Can't wait to see the result of the OU game on September 10th. VMI, FIU & KSPU 2 pm games work pretty good. Tailgating and you are able to go out at night.
  15. Hopefully STO places this in the archive so people that miss this get to see it on the internet. I'm dying to know what iCoach has to say. I'm guessing a bunch of cliches that give us zero information. I'm sure KD will represent. I would have him on my sports talk show often because he always gives good information. He is a great interview, not afraid to speak the truth because he is confident.
  16. For reference, I found Dylan Brumbaugh committed on July 2 last year. I think there was someone early, since this thread was entitled "Akron gets 3rd verbal of 2011"
  17. Murray commits to getting benefits.
  18. I'm with you, iCoach either wins me, or loses me this year. I have to see improvement. I'll give him a chance.
  19. I start to pay attention to recruiting after the season is over. The season hasn't even started. I'm just happy all those offers are in one thread. I have no idea when this years first commit was? I'll say after the scoreboard gets refurbished. I think that's a safe bet. I remember November commits from Ohio last year.
  20. I find it refreshing when an athlete says what they all think but will not say. The losing was worse for his brand than what he said. The NBA will sell a ton of LBJ merchandise next season. Exactly. His comments were spot on last night. He pulled a Jesse "The Body" Ventura and decided to "Tell it like it is." He essentially pointed out that all the "haters" will wake up tomorrow and go on with their little, pathetic lives, same problems as the day before. That was awesome. I don't have a problem with his quote about the haters either. I'm sure my quote would have been a lot worse. I do have a problem with the, I don't want the ball when it comes down to the time when legends are made. I thought that's what he wanted? He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. Odd. I have to think this changes because he still has time to do so...if it's in Miami, or somewhere else. I'm pretty sure he can opt out of his Miami contract in two more years. Edit: As of May, Forbes says LBJ can opt out of a 6 year contract after four years. So that would be in three years. I could have sworn, I originally read three year opt out.
  21. They are very focused right now.
  22. I'm interested to see the Nielsen numbers broke down. I know the finals set seven year records. LBJ interests me, if he wasn't in the finals I probably wouldn't have watched. I'm wondering numbers between Cleveland, Dallas, and Miami markets. I'm interested in Cleveland market this year compared to the last years Cavs final playoff series. Edit: The game peaked with a 20.9 rating from 10:30-10:45 p.m. Eastern. Game 6 netted the highest-rated metered market rating ever for an NBA game in both markets (records through 2002-03) with a 39.8 in Dallas and a 36.2 in Miami. source Still dying to know Cleveland market.
  23. Wow, that infomercial was about 90 percent BS. If you like that, just wait until you see this great way to build muscle.
  24. Construction Inside Rhodes Arena Continues to Move Forward The two team lounges will be symmetrical and feature state-of the-art technology, including multi-screen audio/visual equipment for practice and game video analysis, and opponent scouting. The video systems, designed specifically to meet the needs of the Akron basketball programs, will be synchronized with equipment located in the existing coaching staffs' offices to maximize efficiency in video study and game preparation. The project is scheduled to conclude in late-July. source
