What's up with all the wide open IU receivers? I'm listening to 1350, and it seems like every big play is a pass to a "wide open" Hoosier.

A few thoughts....
-It sounds like we're making the right calls on offense. The execution just isn't there.
-I don't think our defense is up to the challenge today. I hope that they prove me wrong.
-If Ianello can still recruit like he did during his PAC 10 years, we will be just fine in a few years. I hate saying "in a few years", but we just don't have the talent right now.
-Indiana students evidently brought signs begging coach Porter to return to IU. It looks like we aren't the only soccer first school.

I just got an e-mail from the Athletics Department about the Akron vs. Tulsa match this Friday:
This game will also be UA Pride Night – all fans are encouraged to bring a gently used item of clothing from another University and exchange it for a FREE Adidas Akron Soccer t-shirt at the Marketing table at the Southeast gate while supplies last. All collected apparel will be donated following the game. -
Let's get back to the topic. Someone prove to me we are a D-1A conference in reality.
Here's question to answer your question: Is the ACC a BCS conference in reality? How about the Big East?

My prediction: The soccer team will be outdrawing the football team on a per game basis for the final games of the season. With exception to the Can't game, the soccer team will also outdraw the basketball team on a per game basis.
Although the die-hard "All-Amurrican" football lovers on here may deny it, this is highly likely. The fact that it might happen even once this season is sad.

I can't stand this. I'm tired of seeing a bunch of OSU gear at Akron sporting events. I'm tired of Bars around here catering to everyone except UA. I'm tired of UA being looked at as a joke. I'm tired of there being more OSU fans in this area than Akron fans. I have been bragging about UofA (I've even called in to all bets are off and talked up UA) and now they come out and give me this? they let a DII school ( I don't care what it's actually called they're DII) welk into our house (that cost a lot of money to build) and embarrass us. I'm sorry but I've given Icoach the benefit of the doubt, and he has let me down. I'll start going to games again when they can field a team that isn't a complete emarrasment. I'm not even talking competing for anything. just not embarrasing.

And how the heck do you suppose we get a new kicker? All im saying is it's not as easy as you think, especially when your line is letting 1/2 of the defense right through untouched.

Akron up on GW 21-17 as we approach the half.
I said it before, this is the school that beat App State when they were nationall ranked. They are not cupcakes and it should be a good game. They are not Murray State
Even so, the fact that this game is so close at halftime is scary. I was willing to dismiss the Syracuse loss. I don't know how to explain this one.

One of the most interesting things about the ACC's snobbery is how incredibly redneck their local fanbase is. I've been to Virginia/NC. Outside of tourist locations and major cities, there are some real country bumpkins that call those states home.
They still care about the civil war. The freaking Civil War. And I thought Akron fans who still cling to Mike Waddell were sad.

It should be available to you right away. I have Time Warner and ESPN3 works for me. I just happen to click on the scores yesterday and a box popped up and listed some games that I could now watch.
I can't figure out what I am doing wrong then. I go to the ESPN3 site and click on a game it says my system does not have an accepted provider and asks me to choose who I have. Time Warner is not on the list they give me. Any ideas?
GJ, I'm having the same exact problem. I read somewhere that you must pay for ESPN(i.e, pay for normal cable) in order to receive ESPN3 feed. Do you have cable? Or are you cheap-ass like me who just pays for high speed internet?
