  1. Here is a idea; when he comes back into the game, just keep feeding Zeke the ball, or put him and Forsyte in the game together
  2. Timeout: Ohio23, Zips 16
  3. That is the last thing I want to happen: The Zips Patented scoring droughts.
  4. Is it just me, or is Zeke trying not to foul anyone?
  5. Ohio starting the "flopping" early in this game
  6. The game just started and the Zips is up 2-0
  7. Sorry about that, should have been specific. I meant a smaller scale of the Arco Arena in the link.
  8. 40-25 Can't State. Not good
  9. I agree. If yo go off the WKYC report vs. the Beacon, something does not add up.
  10. +1000000 Totally correct Dave. They have been raising the level of the OOC SOS. I think that they understood after the 2006-2007 season when the got nothing, they had no choice. How tough will it get? No idea, I hope that they will never do the brutal Miami OOC schedule from a few years ago. Lets just enjoy the ride!
  11. I promise you, If we told the Dukes/ North Carolina, UCLA'S, Kansas of the world: Come to the Jar and I will pay you 275,000+, they wouls be all over that. I have been trying to find it, but North Carolina Women came to the jar back in the early 90's if I remember correctly(I could be wrong), so it can be done
  12. I think that I can: Some schools out there, just need games to fill, so they will come. Also there are outer teams that will think that "if we go on the road and win, it looks good." There are other teams that will look at the talent and understand that the level is even with us and will be a great game for everyone. I will say this(and get hammered on it, but I do not care). Every team in the Country would come to the Jar, provided that the price is right, regardless of agreement made.
  13. Here is what I would like to see: -Something around 7-8000 for seating -I would even go 2 level(larger lower bowl and short upper bowl design to be curtianed off for smaller events) -something with a low ceiling. I say that because of creating a noise factor. There has to be some type of coating that is light that you can put aroung metal that reflects sound. -Seating that puts you right on top of the action. -for the exterior, I agree with Kangaroo Craig.
  14. Seating capacity, it will look more attractive for them. They are probably thinking "if it is not a Massillion-McKinley playoff game, do we want empty seats at the Info and if that is the case, the Rubber Bowl might be a better option." If it is all about the $$$, I wonder how much is it to rent out the info? Even better question, is the university trying to keep all profits from concessions if they hold playoff games there.
  15. I think that they did already. Was passed over in favor of Massillion.
  16. Is there a watch party anywhere? I did not see anything posted about it
  17. I was thinking the same thing. The only "questionable loss" was Coastal. OK State is ranked now, Creighton was ranked at the time, Detroit is second in the Horizon behind Valpo with mentioned good RPI. It sounds like they don't wan't the Zips anywhere near a at-large bid
  18. I did not know we played in the MAAC! Next somebody will have us playing in the MEAC
  19. They also had NFL Europe
  20. And you shouldn't. The Zips have been there before with that high win amount(2006-2007). Lost in the MAC tourney and got basically nothing for it. Yes I know there was the NIT, but for an at large, forget it. If I remember correctly, they lost on the road at Buffalo and that killed any change the had at a at-large bid. Looking at the team now, I see the same thing happening if they don't watch it.
  21. It is the continuation of no respect
  22. Going to Dayton to be apart of the "First Four Breakfast Club" is unacceptable. IMO, this has to happen to get a true at large: -Ohio or Western has to win the Conference title game -Creighton, OK State and Detroit must win out and get the auto bids -The entire MAC West has a miracle turnaround -The Marketing department keep the Zips in the national spotlight somehow That is asking alot, but it can happen
  23. Exactly! Why go there now? Basketball will be a mess when they leave and at this point, Football will be also.
  24. You might not have a choice. This was also a topic of discussion last year. The University is on it's own on this one. The City does not have the funds yet. I will agree 1,000,000% even the though of a 3800 seat arena is a joke. it has to be at least 5-6k I even find it sickening what the AD said in the Beacon article about keeping the now 5,500 seats. You will be fine if you lose 500 seats for seatbacks
