I can go back even farther than that I went back and found the thread from two years ago on Can't States attendance issues and they used the Wagon Wheel game(for their only sellout in the history of that dump they call a stadium).
The only reason I remember is because they put a whole marketing campaign together to get to the number.
I was thinking about that at the game yesterday. I would love to see 20k at every home game. If the team turns the corner, you will see a increase in fans this season. Just hope the weather holds long enough.
Be careful. That was Morgan State. I am happy that they proved that they can score, but look who they played. I just want them to stop somebody on a consistent basis.
Keep in mind they also have to play Duke, Virginia, NC State and Maryland. Those are traditions I would not be looking forward to. Just wait when they have a chance to play in the BCS title game and they have to play one of these teams and see how their fans react.
I call B.S. on that statement. The alumni there would NEVER let them join the Big 10, especially if football is involved.
They did it because they saw the Big East as a sinking ship and they were probably the only conference to give in to their demands.
If that is true, it is a bad move. I do not care who they are, you tell them "all or nothing." It does nothing for the ACC without Football. Who would want to go to the Big East now? It would be Akron and who else?
That is what I cannot understand. They lost by 20 to that football Juggernaut Duke(YES DUKE!) and they get that many points!? This game is very winnable
If you are basing on last years team, then I agree with you. But come on, you loose by 20 to Duke! That great Football power. If the Zips loose this game, then they are worst than I thought.
I would not trust that. Places like Ticketmaster usually will buy blocks of seats and resell them. I would take that number then give a spread of about 3000.
