You're right all of those areas are worrisome! I just hope we can find someone who won't set us back.

I think it'd be nice to alcohol served in the stadium, but I know any problems that occur would be blamed on it. I think having it in the Club seats and select areas is good enough for me.Oh and yes Dr. Pepper is a must!!

Well after a little vacation from the Nation I thought I'd check up on the staduim progress and all I can say is, IT'S LOOKING GREAT!! Thanks to everyone who has been adding pictures. The more pictures the better, especially from angles the webcams don't cover. It's tough bein hours away but I'm still drooling over this. ...and I'm not too worried about completion, after all it's already better than the Rubber Bowl. I can't wait to see a zips logo!

In case anyone really doesn't know, the game is Sunday, April 26 at 5PM. The exhibition will take place at Lee Jackson Field and is free for UA students with a valid student ID.

According to Rivals, Kansas coach Bill Self visited Payne yesterday in Dayton. I'm not sure that matters but I haven't heard much mention of Akron for awhile....sleeping giant?If we did somehow manage to get Payne it'd be huge (ESPN might cover the story before the ABJ). He's getting looks from schools like Dayton, OSU, Kentucky, Kansas, and just about everyone.Louisville just lost the #3 Center in the 2010 class. He backed out of his verbal to go play professionally in Europe. Payne could prolly make their list as well.

I'm with you CK. That's the first thing I noticed when I saw this schedule yesterday. It would be great to defeat the Hoosiers in Futbol at Jackson Field on Friday and then defeat them in Football at Summa Field on Saturday.I'm already PUMPED for that weekend...it's gonna be great either way. I imagine quite a few Indiana fans will be around to see the show.

ESPN evaluation

Well let's be honest, it's natural as fans to feel a little betrayed because..oh wait...that's part of the game.I'm thankful for the hard work and dedication that Coach Boals put into taking Akron to another level. The time he gave will show for many many years to come! I understand, he made his decision and he should do what's best for his family. To provide for them and accomplish the career goals he established, it is a perfect opportunity! I can honestly say I wish him the best of luck...cus he'll need it...Akron is gonna be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. I would have no problem cheering against Coach Boals from this point forward...hey its part of the game (remember). Now we turn the page and continue where we left off. Though we may compete on the court, never forget the important things in life. Thank you again Coach Boals! Best of luck

Team USA dominates Team FloridaI also like to remind myself that Zeke is very selfless. He prefers defensive play over offensive, thus an all-star game doesn't seem to be where he would peak. I look for Zeke to contribute where it counts, taking a team to the next level and making the plays necessary to win. In an all star game I'm sure everyone is just looking to have a good time and Zeke loves to block shots! (I’m sure the dunk was nice too though) I hope to see a ton more of both, personally.Great job Zeke, sounds like you played well!
