At this rate we are gonna have to go to the local temp agency and whoever has a shirt with a zippy logo on it will get the job. Utterly ridiculous how much TW and icoach has f'd this program up.

Im afraid to post what im thinking but its gonna be difficult for us to attract any coach. We are..the browns of college football. It will take an absolutly ridiculous amount of money to get a "name" coach. Why would any good or up and coming coach wanna come to akron where there is a history of losing, small crowds, an AD that is in dissary and will fire u after 2 years if unsuccessful, especially if this same coach can go to a better team with more pieces in place and make a bigger check. I hope im wrong, but if we cant even get a former alum and player, that is at a school 2 divisions lower than we are, what makes anyone think we can get a decent coach to come here with little or no ties to the program or the area

The season is not over for many programs, so anyone who has a job could not commit this soon. But I don't believe it. Akron U is simply not slick enough to have a big time coach waiting in the wings.
