According to Bill Morgan on 1350am, Tecca hasn't practiced since the injury on saturday. However, she will play today.

#5 seed Ball State defeated #4 seed Buffalo 74-60. Will play #1 Bowling Green in the MAC semifinals tomorrow. Lady Zips take on #6 seed Toledo in 10 minutes. Winner plays #2 Central Michigan without MAC POY Crystal Bradford. As long as Lady Zips take care of business the next two days, I think the Lady Zips will win the MAC Championship on saturday. To only lose by one to BG without Tecca, and also having Ball State's number, I like our chances if we get to the Championship game.

Kacie is the reason why the Lady Zips have the highest scoring duo of any team in the nation. If you would watch how the offense runs when she's on the bench, it's completely different. Barilla just isn't the same type of point guard that Cassell is. Scipio might be, but she needs time to grow and understand the complexed offensive system. The fact Kacie got no honors what so ever, just proves the lack of knowledge these writers have when it comes to this. Fans and coaches need to have a portion of the vote towards the final result for these All-MAC honors.

Ball State hit a three with 7 seconds left to tie it up at 69-69, and Ball State's Woody goes the length of the court for a layup that gets called for an offensive call with one second left. Looks like overtime.

Lady Zips clinched AT LEAST a 3 seed with last night's victory. CMU is currently losing at home to Ball State, and if they lose that one plus two of Toledo/WMU/EMU, which is unlikely(but is possible), Lady Zips will get the #2 seed. I don't see the Lady Zips winning any tiebreakers to get #1 seed however. Bowling Green need to lose two as well, which is more unlikely. Looks like Lady Zips will be the #3 seed even if the Lady Zips finish with a conference record of 15-3.

Lady Zips would be up 25-30 pts if not for their foul trouble. From Millet Hall: Zips 20 Miami 27 At least it's good to see Big Dog producing. Surprised when I saw Deji had 6 points. Need some production from the guards. Tree should get more in the 2nd half. Good to see Harney on the floor. Might take a while to get back in the flow.
