    We'll need to score a TD next drive if they want to keep it close. Aside from the one stop the defense really hasn't been playing well.

    Honestly, I would have more faith in last year's team heading into this game. I feel like our offense isn't playing as well as we saw last season. While the defense is about the same. If the defense shows up for this game it might stay close.

    Agree completely. Crowd noise will be the least of our worries. Our defense got torn apart by a FCS school last week. As much as I want to stay positive, this is going to be a very lopsided game.

    I definitely feel like the offense could be more aggressive and Hirschman should be starting. On the defensive side we really need to step it up. A FCS team should not be able to run for 5+ yards on every carry. At the end of the day we're at .500 for the first, and probably last time this season.

    While some might be disappointed, Akron really doesn't have money right now to do anything big. I mean we've been wearing the same uniforms for 5 years now?

    I think the runner was down. Seemed like the ball fell out pretty late. But the angle they showed wasn't that great. This JMU coach is really getting on my nerves. Looks like he's flipping out every time they show him.

    Was that 3 sacks in a row? wow this OLine is pathetic... If I'm JMU I'd run it right up the middle every, single play.

    I turned it on a few minutes ago. Got to see Pohl throw a beautiful long completion down the field to someone in a JMU uniform. How bad are the rest of the QBs that this guy is playing?

    Losing to a piece of s*** FCS school should be the last straw for Zips fans. Guess we need to find a different way to spend our fall.

    A lot of FCS schools have beaten FBS schools this year. As embarrassing as it is, it happens.

    I agree. Unless we're talking about a school like Penn State or Alabama, there's nothing wrong with variety. I think Akron can do a lot of modern stuff since that tradition isn't really there. I will say that I think the Zips should stay away from colors like black and gray. I think those seem to be overused today.

    Matte blue would be pretty cool. But white would mean the Zips can go wear all-white stormtrooper style.
