This game will be ugly. Very very ugly... A Zips team that has given up on the season vs. a ranked opponent? wow.

Silver has been the trend in college sports. Bigger schools, like Oregon, started to introduce silver and chrome. It became popular and other schools have been doing the same. I think just this season I have seen about 10-20 chrome football helmets. I think originally it was cool but once every school did it lost it originality. Basketball has been the same with most schools adopting a silver/grey alt. I'm just suggesting we go back to our roots and ditch the black and silver, for some blue and gold. But hey, as long as we don't follow this awful trend I will be happy.

Would like to see the return of gold.

Sometimes ESPN3 can run slow, but for the most part it has worked well for me. I would recommend buying a Google Chromecast to stream to TV. Very cheap ($35) and plugs into any HDMI. Can stream directly from any Chrome browser window on any computer. You can also stream from any smartphone, but ESPN isn't supported yet...

From the one quarter I watched, Pohl looked like Weeden out there. He was staring down receivers, holding on to the ball way too long, throwing short passes and the only throws downfield were way off. Is Hirschman out for the season or what? I don't care what Pohl did against Michigan. It was one game and these losses are showing that he can't get it done. There is a lot wrong with this team. But if you can't score you aren't going to win. The defense isn't good enough to win us game or even keep us in games. I'm mad, disinterested, disappointed, but I will never give up on the Zips. I guess one day if this ever gets turned around we will appreciate the wins that much more.

It's pretty bad when people here have given up. We were probably the only fans left... Jim Tressel is the only one who can save this program, and that's never going to happen.

Horrible is putting it nicely. Give 100% against Michigan. 10% the rest of the season. #BowdenBall I can't even get excited for next season. What do we have to look forward to? We don't even play an FCS school, so where does the 1 win come from?

Zips are playing to lose. They don't seem very interested in even scoring a TD... Another week of embarrassment. If they don't care why should we?

Zips needed a touchdown. Very bad playcalling again. Screen pass when your only blocker is the smallest guy on the field? Historically not awesome. Got great field position, went right into the redzone and stalled. We aren't a good football team and need all the points we can get...

I actually hate OSU more than Can't. Can't fans are mostly from Can't and are alumni/students. So at least I respect that. OSU fans are everywhere yet none of them actually went to OSU. ...I can probably list about 15-20 more reasons but it's not worth it.

Not being good enough to win is one thing, but I can't stand a team that isn't trying to win. Are the Zips tanking for a draft pick or something? I'm tired of trying to get excited for soccer. I'm tired of waiting for next year. I'm just flat out tired of losing. I'm glad I get to watch the Browns suck too tomorrow against the Bengals. I can't remember the last time I got to root for a good football team. 2003?

It's like Akron's goal was to show up, score 14 points and then sit back and watch. Games aren't won in the first quarter. 1-4

Zips are awful on both sides of the ball right now.

Akron scored 14 points and now seems content on coasting to the end of the game. I don't understand why with just under 2 minutes left you don't try to put points on the board.

Our offense needs to start clicking again. The defense isn't going to keep BG off the scoreboard much longer.

Just saw the video on youtube. Looked like a very average dunk and the hoop closed up. Nothing about it screamed "earthquake dunk." Must have been more exciting in person.

Like I've said before, this team is capable of beating any team on the schedule. Will they, who knows... Honestly this team is a few plays away from being 3-1 right now. If the offense can start to click we will be okay. Need to learn how to win, it's that simple.

Looks like Michigan might not be as strong as we thought. They are down 7 at half to a winless UConn team.

It's over. Probably the most disappointing loss in the past 2 years. Almost beat the #15 team in the country, then lose to a team from the Sunbelt...

This is what happens. The Zips aren't being aggressive on offense. We needed to score and now we are going to fall behind 2 possessions... Whoever is calling the plays cost us the game. All the positive buzz around the Zips has been flushed down the toilet. Very embarrassing loss...
