  6. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you exactly when Diogo Pacheco entered the contest late in the second half. But I can tell you that the offensive tempo increased dramatically. His impact on the final result cannot be overstated.

  8. Big props to first year HC Sinisa Ubiparipovic. Once a Zip; always a Zip. http://www.csuvikings.com/sports/m-soccer/coaches/ubiparipovic_sinisa?view=bio "The first-ever player from Akron to be drafted in the MLS SuperDraft, Ubiparipovic began his collegiate career at fellow Horizon League member UIC before transferring to the Zips program after one season. Ubiparipovic was a two-time All-American for Akron and was named the 2006 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year under then head coach Caleb Porter. Ubiparipovic scored 42 goals as a collegian, including a career-high 17 during his junior season. He was inducted into Akron’s Sports Hall of Fame in the fall of 2018."

  10. The ones attending are worthy of being recognized as AK Rowdies. But there are precious few of them. Ten years ago, AK Rowdies made a definite home advantage. Not so much anymore. There is nothing preventing AK Rowdies from regaining that fervor; they certainly can. But creative student leadership is required. It goes without saying that the team must also deliver excellence.
