  1. Soccer Coach? Forget that! I’m going to be President! I got MAD executive skills!
  2. Better turn out than expected in the freezing weather. Dozens were in attendance to see Zips trounce FC Porto, a youth academy from Toronto. It is not too soon to say this: Catch the brilliance that is David Egbo while you still can! He is looking more special every outing! He is unlikely to play out his full eligibility. Such touch! Such poise!
  3. Tyler Warner! Fantastic interview! Keep up the strong work!
  4. No GK anywhere would have stopped that 4th goal by Riverhounds. That shot rang the goal post like a bell just below the crossbar. It was a world class free kick from (I think) #25.
  5. Much Love to Zarek V. It is way past time that cat paid us a visit.
  6. Carlo likes tackling... alot. I am going to like this Ritaccio. Notice the players he identifies as heroes.
  7. Yes, I think so.
  8. Young Joao drops microphone, exits parking lot..........
  9. It may be that it is I who does not get it. Marla Ridenour, Akron Beacon Journal conducted this interview. True or False? Or was it Tyler Warner? Then why is Marla Ridenour, Akron Beacon Journal at the top of the cover page? Great interview!
  10. I wish there was a way to congratulate Marla Ridenour on this article blog.
  11. I will attend some Internationals matches this Spring.
  12. What are Will Jackson's other (potential) sports? Do tell.
  13. Should be an Akron Hall of Famer.
  14. Really good interview with Saad Abdul-Salaam. I learned a few things.
  15. Ger recruits all positions.
  16. Where is that recent photo of the asymmetrical corn rows?
  17. The hair has definitely come a long way.
  18. Oh, how I wish we could have had JLew in 2017 College Cup!
  19. Not Zips related per se, but the previously unknown player (to me) that has impressed during the 2018 MLS Combine is: Wyatt Omsberg CB - Dartmouth "Nobody helped their stock more this week, though it wasn't because of what he did on the field. Omsberg wasn't an unknown – he's been the best player in the Ivy League for a couple of years, and he was heavily scouted in the PDL. People knew he could play. What folks didn't know was the extent of his athleticism. He was literally the fastest player over 10 meters at this Combine, and the quickest defender in the 5-10-5 agility test. Seeing that from a 6-foot-4 left-footer is rare. He's pretty much exactly what Montreal need. They've gotten beat up in the air and out-physicaled on the ground for years." I had read about him. It was cool to finally see him in the combine. He looks like a can't miss prospect to me. USMNT? https://www.mlssoccer.com/players/wyatt-omsberg
  20. I must disagree with Matthew Doyle. Joao is a terrific 1 v 1 defender. Without Moutinho's 1 v1 tackling, Zips would have lost many key matches on the way to 2017 College Cup. Zips could have lost vs. Wisconsin. Zips most likely would have lost in Louisville without Joao's 1 v 1 defending. Watch the recordings, Matthew.
