  1. Good, but not good enough!
  2. That is a sharp kit.
  3. Souders played just to round out the split squad. He almost scored!?
  4. He always has, even in high school at St. Edward's. Remember the 2010 regular season match, Zips hosting Michigan Wolverines? This was the match where Sarkodie scored a hat trick; I think the final score was 7-1. Nagbe was savagely fouled, resulting in a straight red for the perpetrator. I know there exists video on this because I have seen it. It even sounds bad. DarNag has always frustrated the opposition because he is so difficult to dispossess. Ball sticks to him.
  5. The dorky (and inexplicable) kangaroo is distinctive, to be confused with no other mascot or logo. The kangaroo has never looked better than on the A-Roo logo. Z is just a letter.
  6. I never imagined I would miss the A-Roo so much!
  7. Research the video history. It will take you two minutes on Google. Nigel de Jong has a long and shameful record. He has been perpetrating this crap for a long time, on several continents. A season long ban should be considered by MLS. But MLS hate to discipline the LA Galaxy, their flagship franchise.
  8. Nigel de Jong is internationally notorious for his dirty play. Replay WC Final 2010 vs. Spain. He is on many different lists of dirtiest footballers in the world. Nigel de Jong is a thug! Given his persistent reputation, MLS should throw the book at de Jong and the Galaxy. A double-digit match suspension is certainly warranted.
  9. Michael Bradley will be suspended next match for yellow card accumulation. (He actually could have received a red card for his egregious foul.) This may present opportunity for Nagbe.
  10. See USA's third goal by G Zusi. 46th minute? Yedlin's dribble into the middle and brilliant outside-of-the-foot pass into the box manufactured the score.
  11. There is a boatload of information out there on this topic. Five minutes on Google rendered link below. Note difference between #6 and #8. There are probably better links out there. Best research begins by asking the right question, correct? Naturally, this changes depending upon the formation. This example is 4-2-3-1, the most common modern formation. http://www.football-bible.com/soccer-info/jersey-numbers.html Let me know what you think. I would rather discuss these topics than do just about anything else, including my job. #soccernerd.
  12. As I understand it, Hinds is strictly an outside back. He will not be challenging for either CB position. What is his preferred foot? It would be very nice were he a lefty.
  13. Is John Nelson picture here? Which one is he?
  14. All Hail Emmanuel Sabbi! I can hardly wait!
  15. Hey Palchick; take a work break! I mean, take a break and do some work!
  16. Well, let us start working on John Nelson.
  17. Why is this not on GoZips.Com?
  18. Alex Mapp (Medina, Ohio) Defender.
  19. What is the maximum number of players on a D1 MSOC roster? I know not the number, but I'll warrant the NCAA regulates such things. One can therefore surmise that because of the additions listed above, not everyone in the St. Paddy’s photo will attend U of Akron come Fall. Somebody must go. Facts of life.
  20. Kofi Sarkodie is not playing anywhere? Wow.
  21. God help the MLS if this deal is consummated.
