Even worse! I love collegiate athletics, but the NCAA is the most corrupt organization in our society. Let me get this straight. Quinn can transfer from another D1 NCAA program without penalty, but Holmes suffers suspension for transferring from an NAIA program? Why the discrepancy? And why is ND barred from tourney? Jacob M's comment is what happened. Nothing to do about transferring.

I absolutely agree and,in fact,it would be great to get the infernal music banned altogether. It is terrible sitting in the stands and having that noise blasting in your ears. BTW,it has nothing to do with the fact that I am an old guy

Best they have looked this year. Only blip was the several minute stretch when ohio state was pressuring and scored. Overall time of possession was unreal for us.

I saw this kind of crap versus Fullerton and it was not a pretty sight. I only heard the audio of the Fullerton match. However bad that was, expect worse from OSU. From the coach on down, OSU hates that Akron is better. This is our biggest rivalry, Bisbee. And don't let any of the brainwashed OSWho fans tell you that it's not true. They wouldn't bring two busloads of fans up here if they were not desperately trying to avoid allowing the state of Ohio to know that Akron is superior to the athletic program that spends tons of money to try to BUY titles. This raises a pretty good question for me. I don't know too much about other college sports, and I don't know a ton about the athletic programs of the other schools in Ohio, but lets be honest, Ohio State is either great or just really good at almost everything. Could someone answer this for me: Do you think our soccer team is the only athletic program from Ohio that is better than Ohio State at the same sport? I was just wondering if like Bowling Green had a killer women's golf team or something. If not, it's no wonder this makes them mad. I know, being someone who grew up in central Ohio surrounded by the people who worship Ohio State without having set foot on their campus, that being better than them at a sport feels good. It probably sucks for them and I love that. Just wondering if we were the only Ohio school that has that distinction. The Dayton Flyers used to have some pretty good basketball teams as did the Univ of Cincinnati

Best remedy is to score early and often and then keep out of harms way. Man wish i could be at this one.

UConn will probably lose at least a couple before season is over. They never have been capable of putting it all together and this year will probably not be any exception. As long as we remain in top 4 on NSCAA poll it's fine by me. Bring on OSU!!!! Being top four is NSCAA poll may be a lagging indicator of being a top four seed, but it's not a lock. There's still a selection committee and they still lean on RPI and don't take any other ranking into account. Either way I could see us not losing a match this season and I'd have to think that would bode well for our seed. UCSB is the only match that I think we stand a decent chance of losing. Schedule is softer this year than the last couple. Totally agree with your assessment of the remaining schedule. Beating UCSB will be huge.
