We'll get in the tournament. Thursday evening First Round, and that might be it for Home games. I hope this team can turn it around. They have all the talent, just can't seem to put it together. Finishing! We can't find the net, and not creating good clean shots. Does Mattocks seem to tail off in the cold, or is it the opposition boxing him out from chances? Someone fill me in. Last year, I just thought Mattocks was tired at the end of the season and I believe Coach Porter said that himself, but I'm second guessing it now. Akron needs another goal scorer, lots of candidates who could fill that role, but someone needs to step up now to compliment Mattocks. We can't rely on him to score all the goals, no matter how good he is. Tonight's goal most likely would've gone in by Mattocks, but Dagilis made sure of it with his head a few feet from the goal line. I hope we get seeded with a lousy team, and maybe we can get our swag back.

Well deserved all around, especially Trapp. He's an animal. Totally agree; #6 is the real deal! One or two more like him and we will take back the championship in 2012. FS: I have worn a #6 jersey every match since I purchased it at the beginning of 2010 season. You may remember that #6 and #10 were offered in the Team Shop, Nagbe and Ampaipitakwong respectively. Prior to this year’s OSU match, I was approached in Manny's by Trapp's neighbor from Columbus, accompanied by Trapp’s mother. She was too shy to ask if I was her son’s primary fan. So, she convinced her neighbor to accost a drunken stranger (me) about it. Of course, I replied that I wore #6 in her son’s honor. What else was I going to say? Big Wil Trapp fan here!!! ISN reported MLS Scouts are high on Caldwell and Trapp. Saying MLS scouts believe Trapp has the most potential. I'm just wondering if Trapp will leave early like Kitchen. ISN also is hearing Mattocks will be offered a Generation Adidas Contract which I think is what we all expected.

It was confirmed today, CONCACAF Olympic Qualifiers will be held in Nashville, TN and Carson, CA, while Kansas City will host Semifinals and Final. Road trip anyone? I believe USA will play the Group stage in Nashville if you listen to Coach Porter in the video above. Just before the 16 min mark.

Crew8, was this the show that played on Sunday evening, same time as LA Galaxy-RSL playoff game? I started watching for couple minutes. But that was only because of the Babe host. Sorry if I sound obsessed, but for Pete sake, she's smokin'. I'll try and watch it on Thurs morning. Heck, I gotta work! Maybe they figure people could go to the soccer game before heading to watch some high school football playoffs? Other than getting out of work in time to make it to the game.
