Just picked up a White #16 Zips Jersey (Game worn) and a #86 Blue Jersey. They have a bunch of them in the Football offices in the Field House. $20 each. Deal of the century. They are from 2007 from what I can tell.

Zippy is on strike last I checked. Rumor is, is that the school pays "zippy" a $2000 stipend and no compensation for driving. Keep in mind the amount of events throughout the entire year.... Interesting to see what plays out.

I've posted this before but I have a hunch that the reasoning for the spread being so large is two-fold. We rank in the bottom 10 in most statistical categories. And, 2, UCF is a sleeper according to a few people including Charles Davis at Fox Sports. He's got them ranked at #25 in the nation. Keener had a #92 Zips Jersey on. I was wearing a blue Akron Shirt Avaitor sunglasses and blue Zips hat. (I'm 22 if that helps) ...The guy that told me to leave asked if I had family on the team and I told him "no" He then said I'm gonna have to ask you to leave because this was a closed practice. He watched Gate#2 the entire scrimmage. For a while I stood at the gate on the northside to watch until I saw a number of people successfully make it past "the gatekeeper" I walked down to the southside and found that gate to be open so I walked in... I wasnt taking notes or giving any reason to be suspicious. Im just a senior thats paid a handsome amount for the piece of paper I get in December....just wanted to check out the team. Disapointed.

I was trying to keep low key after getting turned away... As far as the scrimmage. I think the offense just wasn't clicking. Very hit or miss. I felt like they couldn't string consecutive plays together for an effective grind it out type drives. Although they would break open big plays every now and then. Our Redzone offense is very weak. Its hard to tell if its our defense rockin' or our offense is just sloppy... Dalton threw a couple passes up in the corners that never had any chance. The 100 yard pick six ball should have never ever been thrown and it hit the corner in the chest. The receiver had the hardest time getting off the line. We have big play ability but at the same time our defense cannot give those up to our opponents or it will be a long season.. I kinda felt like they weren't playing inspired. We will see in less than a couple weeks!

I was asked to leave.... Thanks Guy in the long sleeve gray Akron shirt standing next to Mr. Keener that came and told me I wasn't allowed in and then proceeded to let about 50 other in. No worries I went to the south gate and walked right in.
