  6. Here is the most telling stat from saturdays game: Starting with the drive that made the score 42-28 NIU ran up 288 yards of offense and 21 points. That is when the Zips went into the prevent defense. I have never liked that defense and I hope the Zips coaching staff burned in the locker room after the game. So if my above stat is correct that means that NIU managed just a little over 200 yards before the change in defense. This Zips defense is the best I have ever seen!!!!!
  7. BuckZip, Here is why I hate The OSU.... First of all everybody likes OSU. It does not matter where they went to college or where in Ohio they live. Why do they like them because they win football games and because well everybody else likes them. Secondly because of them no other school in Ohio counts. The media will still talk about OSU over any other D-1 school. Look at the Beacon they would rather send three people to Columbus to cover a game but won't send somebody down the street to get a real interview from the Zips. And the same goes for the Plain Dealer.
  8. Thanks and good luck to you as well. I know its tough but you guys do have a good team I hope the wins start coming. Hixson is ok he will be ready to go next week.
  9. Oh the poor little Zips are going to get killed...... Oh my I hope nobody gets hurt...... Halftime Score 28 -14 Purdue...... For say the Zips will get killed!!!!!! Oh I think the score will be 65 - 7 Purdue!!!!!! Come Zips fans have some faith!!!!!! In JD I trust!!!!!!!

  11. Just a little more fuel for the fire..... Stokes is also a Soph. not a freshman and Keving Grant is a redshirt freshman so he was not included in last years class. All so Eric Livley is a true freshman but he came in the class with Grant but did not show up until last Jan...... Come DL if you need some help just post a topic and we can help you out!!!!!! 18. Just a thought..... I just read where Akron Butchel Star Bryan Williams did not qualify to play this year for Pitt. Does he follow his teammate Marlon Terry and become a Zip??? This would be huge, Bryan is a very good and fast DB. He could come in next year and start.
  19. Nice Work Capn' I don't mind seeing any freshman play but if they only play as much as Johnny Long did last year I think that is a waste. Nothing aganist the way Long played last year but he just was not on the field enough to really contribute anything. Ferguson was very highly rated coming out og highschool. Good to know we have a capable backup on hand. If the o-line can come together the Zips could have a very good offense. Maybe better than last year..... I thought the beacon said Fife was going to be the #2 TE........I would check you notes again Capn' I will have to go with the Beacon on this one..... Marlon is on UA campus and grade willing will be a Zip nextyear. Again nice work Capn!!!!!
  20. If the Suckeyes come knocking he might go walking. Committed to be a Zip????
