I was reading jjhuddle.com today and saw where somebody said Freguson was transferring in. They read it in the local Ashland newspaper today. Anybody know anything? If this is true he saw the writing on the wall with Jackson, Jacumein (sp?), and now Hakes.....

Mickey is 6'0 225. I like Howe to but from what I have seen he is too slow on side to side pursuit. We need some one who can fly at MLB.

This young man looks very good. He is a little short but he seems to hide behind the guys up front and then comes out and puts a big hit on the ball. He also seems very strong he can take on the big blockers. He also flows to the ball very well. I can see this kid coming in next year and being the stating MLB for the Penn State Game.....

The DB's names is Andre Jones.....He is a 4 star DB 5-11 190 4.4.......In '04 Scout.com had him as a 3 star now in '05 he was a 2 star4 Star on Rivals.com

You need to go back and look at tapes from other games Stokes is a big time hitter. He pull a hamstring in practice this past week and played hurt vs. Memphis. Stokes is a very good player. Go back and watch the first quarter he came across the filed field and put a nice hit on #20.

Accoring to footballscoop.com LB Coach Matt Wallderstat(sp?) has left the Zips to join Kansas State for the same position. Source

He signed with Minnesota last year but never enrolled due to a health issue. I may be wrong but because he never enrolled I don't think he has to sit out a year.

I thought the same thing Capn'. If you want to be a Zip you better make up your mind quick. Well next year the Zips will have one SR QB, One Soph QB and two Redshirt Frosh QB's. Plus add Hakes do that gives them 5 QB's......I would have to think the answer to Stanzi is no but who knows if he really wants to be a Zip..... I like the fact JD does take a chance on a couple kids who might have grades problems. I can't wait to hear if the kids in last years class will be able to play next year....

Today is a very sad day for the Soccer Program at The University of Akron. I just got word that head coach Ken Lolla has accepted the Head Soccer Coach position at the University of Louisville. There is nothing on the net yet about this but trust me this is no joke. I would like to thank coach Lolla for eveything he has done for the University and wish him and his family the very best in the future. This is the price you pay when you win.

Zips got a new verbal today from a Texas QB. Sean Hakes It came down between Akron and BG.
