Oakland men's soccer main schedule page shows the final score as Oakland 3-1 score must have been 3-1 after 90 minutes of normal regulation time. Akron 2nd goal must have come in extra 30 minutes of play when 2nd and 3rd stringers took the field. Very disappointing result from the Zips. Oakland scored no goals when they played a very poor Chicago State team. Oakland scored 3 goals in 90 minutes of regulation against the zips.

Looking at the rankings....the soccer coaches think that Akron will be the 3rd best team in the Big East 4 big east teams listed among the 37 teams receiving votes Creighton is highest ranked big east team at 8 Georgetown is 17 Akron is 22 Providence received votes (30th in rankings) As usual, ACC teams are quite prevalent in the rankings 1.
