Looks like a 50/50 game with a 6-5 (2023) FCS team and probably a 50/50 at Kent. So 2-10 is the ceiling again. With their crack marketing team, I'm sure they'll get dozens of people to come out for this.

Progress is fighting for a bowl bid in 2022, and having a chance late in the season to get there. The nonleague schedule is rough, but the MAC East is the worst division in FBS. Don't necessarily have to get to the 6 wins, but not being eliminated from bowl eligibility with multiple games to play is the only way there will actually be tangible progress showing.

The right hire can save the program. But we're at the point where going 3-5 in the MAC is very possibly "biggest improvement year-to-year in the nation" territory.

Not sure that's going to be enough to keep this thing close.

Sign me up if they get that. Not sure it'll work great, but it certainly would be something different.
