No, he wasnt eligible this year to participate. He has been training hard all year. Been to a few AU home games and he believes .Cant wait to see how he stacks up against the other guys. Just a FYI. My sons coach is a little like that. I keep telling him I want my youngest to go to Akron with his brother. Coach then springs on me a few big ten schools like him and he has talked to them. I dont think he would of ever told me that if I wouldn't of mentioned Akron. So much negativity about Akron really pisses me off. The school is freekin beautiful. Any who ,Akron hasnt showed any interest in my youngest. I think his lack of a good 40 time has hurt him. On the other hand , there is so much talent in the surrounding area I cant believe Akron cant land these recruits. All you hear about is the D Bookers. Man, so many mistakes...... Zips QB had a nice ball and presence in the pocket. He had tons of time. Im a RBs guy and I was impressed by Hakeem Lawrence.. kid does have skills. Score didn't reflect the play.. How can a recruit not go into that atmosphere and not wanna be a ZIP?

I am going to take back the D1 comment about Headrick. I seen the kid the other day and he looks good. About 210 6' and a heck of allot quiker than last year.

yea he is 33...... For what it is worth I believe in Akron and I want my boys to go to Akron. I have been to a bunch of schools and AKRONS FACILITY'S AND SCHOOLING IS TOP NOTCH. Mr. Bowden coached my youngest up at the first camp this year telling the group if they come to Akron they will be part of a transformation . It will be a hard road but the payoff will come. They wanna be in that group....I want them in that group.

My wife and I got our first season tickets yesterday. Win or lose I think its gonna be a good season.

Headrick is a good player but not D1. I would guess he runs high fours. I would like for any of you guys to evaluate my sons tape. Is he D1? His brother is enrolled at Akron now and I want both of them to be at the same school. He is now playing outside OLB.

My boy is 5'8'' buck 75. He has been told all his life hes to small. But every year came out top of his game. His favorite college player is Noel Devine. Devine was a cold dude.

I hate when people think cuz a kid is small hes not capable to play D1 ball.
