The Bahamas Bowl is a logistics nightmare getting equipment there not to mention poor facilities once you get there.....

My son's helmet last night prior to the game as we waited for senior night recognition.....passing the torch...

They had vacuum trucks on the field most of the night removed up to a million gallons of water...there is no standing water on the field right now

The sidelines got kinda deep....

That's only half of it ..the water ended up vovering the entire field...and some of the parking lots

Council started this week due to an injury that the starting center got the 1st half of the Penn state game..

Yes it was due to the weather....it was extremely miserable...lol...my boy plays on the offensive line and was more then ready for the air conditioned bus ride...

Yes Woody was spent....he went to the locker room with a wet towel on his head as soon as he came out before the half ended...

Unless this year is different then the past...those are just captains for this game......they have different captains though out the year then elect team captains at the end of the year...

It was a beautiful day..however the turn out for this event was disappointing... ....for the most part just the players family members....

The OL coach.OC..Strength coach..corners coach..linebackers coach...director of high school relations..are all going so far

Kids commit to the coaching staff that they will spend a lot of time working with. .they form relationships during the recruiting process. ...that staff is now no longer there..those relationships are gone...perhaps the position coach at Toledo was the biggest reason he committed in the 1st place? I dont have a problem with a kid de-committing under these circumstances

The University wasn't the only ones struggling with the number of people attending the game. .we tried eating at an eatery across from gate 1....after after waiting 40 mins for our food we asked about our order and were told 10 more mins...15 mins later we asked again and were told at least and hour they hadn't started our order yet...needless to say we didn't stay..alot of Pitt fans were also disappointed with the service or lack of. ..another thing was the TVs there were 6...2 were shut off. .one had cops or something on and the 3 above the bar all had Tosu game on...I won't go back..

The players give the names of those getting tickets for the game earlier in the week..then those people pick up the tickets at gate 2 for home games..they need to provide a photo ID to get them.. If a player doesn't need his tickets they usually give them to another player that does. .say the player is from Georgia and the game is in Buffalo he may give his tickets to players from NY that need more tickets for family and friends. ..

I can speak from experience. ..TB and his staff made the decision much easier for one recruit! The facilities are very nice but we looked at several nice facilities. ..The academics were a big plus as well.. a few of the other mac schools he looked at didn't offer the program he wanted. However in the end it was Coach Bowden and Coach Tank that swayed his opinion. He is also very happy with the new strength and conditioning staff....GO ZIPS....
