I'm aware of two head coach recommendations by Peyton Manning-. Arth and Adam Gase. Ouch. At this juncture, our only alternative is to take the Auburn game as an expected loss in hope to see some improvement going forward.

I think this is a vital game to maintaining the faith of many Zips fans in Arth. As for me, I have been patient with the build and encouraged others to give it time but my patience is waning. It pains me to say it and I hope to hell I am wrong but this is feeling like the leadup week to the UMass game 2 or 3 years back where we were looking at an weak opponent as an opportunity to start to turn things around and we know how that one turned out.

We've had some really good conversations on here with fans of other teams who have come on to discuss their teams and ours. Those are types of discussions we could use more of around here so I am more than happy to hear from people with other allegiances or concurrent allegiances as they help lead to a more diverse discussion than the same old rah-rah go team stuff. You don't really expect accurate and timely factual information about the Zips do you? That would require a local newspaper or two that cares and a commitment from the athletic department.

The Zips are one third of one of the 10 worst teams. I saw another that ranked them as 122.

So you are anticipating an Auburn turnover deep in their own territory? From what I have read, this looks to be a down year for Auburn. Even a down year will result in a win against our Zips, but let's hope the Zips aren't embarrassed and come out of the game healthy with some positive experience under their belts.
