I wonder if Michigan State's "Officiating thread" is going crazy right now about how bad the officiating was vs Duke. 37 free throws vs 16. It had to be the officials right?
I have noticed for a while that there is a broken link.... I noticed it in the "Akron Zips Basketball" forum. Right under the tabs, the "Akron Zips Forums" link is broken. (ZipsNation.org ----> Akron Zips forums ----> Akron Zips Basketball) Just an FYI.
I started one on yahoo..... Here is the info: This is a private pool so you will need the following information to join: Pool ID#: 100462 Password: gozips To play you must join and complete your bracket by Thu, Mar 19.
Obviously bad journalism, I'm not gonna argue that. I am not a Livingston fan at all.... But let me get this straight....you emailed a writer who made a mistake on a name, called him a "bozo" and got upset when he responded to you with a smart ass response? I'm pretty sure if you would've said "Hey Bill just a heads up, you made a mistake on a name...." his response would have been a little different.
How much experience will really be gained by playing 1 or 2 more road games (after your team has played 30+) when the kids & coaches really aren't interested? I understand what the logic is but it isn't exactly rewarding to play in a tournament with the other sub 100 ranked teams. The kids won't be in to it and neither will the coaches or fans. It's like playing in a bowl game when your team finishes 6-6.
Gotta give the ABJoke credit though.... at least there weren't two articles that were the exact same on the front page of the sports today. And I would take an article from Marla ANY day over one from GT.
We bang on the U of A for small crowds at the JAR.....how do you think the MAC feels when they get 2,411 for their tournament games? Ouch. Not even the Madison Square Garden theory of making the top dark helped last night. There were camera shots on ESPN3 that showed literally 4 fans in the background.
Agree, crappy move by the WMU player. With the game over why are you trying to take the ball? Also a crappy move by Kwan to wave and mouth "bye bye" to the WMU players. Both players were in the wrong. Beat Ken+!
