    This game is exactly why I'd rather see these types of road games and less home cupcake games. Even if Arkansas is at the bottom of the SEC, it's a big win and these types of wins are worth so much to a program like Akron's!.

    I thought so too but I checked the roster and he isn't listed. But then again Mark Noble and Carlitos Anderson aren't listed either. So who knows? Maybe the new AD can tell us in his next press conference.

    Yes very bad way to run a program, which is why nobody operates that way. I think Morris is answering the question that was asked - "Does KD have the option of not renewing a scholarship..." - And the answer is, all scholarships are year to year.

    So the game is not really on TV but since it's "on" the SEC Network, it'll be considered a televised game.....like the laptop games on ESPN3.

    ESPN came out with their preseason rankings of all schools 1-351. Akron falls in at #93 - not too surprising. Rankings of the OCC teams that UA plays at the JAR: Lipscomb- 285, Charleston Southern- 303, South Carolina St- 332, Bethune-Cookman- 334 & Coppin St- 338. Not sure where Hiram is but I'm guessing it's below 351.
