Ahhh...what sage tailgaters we have here in the nation.Very good advice.I remember my days as social chairman...tapping a new keg meant a lot of suds. How about I tap the keg, burn the suds into a pitcher, drink the settled beer and have it primed for tomorrow morning?A plan?

I just got home from the long drive to Cleveland and find that my lovely wife has picked up the pony keg for tomorrow's tailgate.I'm awfully parched.Do I open the keg tonight and sample some of the fine Heineken brew or wait until tomorrow morning?I want to make sure there is plenty of liquid refreshment for my fellow Zippers tomorrow.Hmmmmmmm...input...please! and by the way...

Hi:Well....Most of us Oldies already have our season tickest and sit thusly.We will be at our tailgate location in Tailgate City, however.As we did at the Army game, some of us Oldies will go down to the Rowdy section for some Zip fellowship...but we don't all sit together at the games...at least not for this one...maybe down the road.But please, stop by the tailgate and hoist one with us!

I've always considered our band an expression of tradition and pride. It has never really mattered to me what they play. Out of the 30 years I've been watching them, I can think of only a hand full of years where the quality was not up to their usual high standard.Like the team, I would like to see the band start new traditions...like script Ohio.I thought script Zips was cool, but it wasn't something we could call our own.Perhaps when we move in to the new place would be a good time to do that.
