Well, as for the AK-OLDIES, I have been very disappointed in the lack of interest. We can't get any, any help from the Alumni Assoc. The Athletic Department at least let up put a table in the lobby at the JAR one time. I've got a family and a job and can't do it all myself. Not a pity party, just the facts. I thought there would be much more interest. I've put a lot of my own money into it...I'm at the point where I'm now giving the t-shirts away. I've also offered the Alumni Assoc. to take it over....no reply.

I always took another team rooting against me as "We have a heck of a lot better chance to beat them instead of you"+1

If they keep scoring 12 pts in a half, I want them too!

OU/Miami is now on Time Warner 310, they just had the CAVS up for between games.

What channel was it on? I looked for a while and couldn't find it, so I watched it on channelsurfing.net.It was on 310, which I believe is a Fox Sports alternate channel.

I'M 19!!! but I've always kinda liked retroish stuff I guess. I think some of the Oregon jerseys are awesome, like the ones they wore in the BSU game. And I'm not trying to insult any of the Ak-Oldies by calling these logos "retro" either, haha. No disrespect.No disrespect taken...you think I want to be 19 again? Anyway, I like modern logos, but I just think the shoulder crossing the "A" on the donkey logo is a bit of a reach. They can do better than that.

Man, that site is awesome. My favorites from the mac are Ohio and Bowling Green's current helmets, maybe Miami's. Can't's are the worst.The site is nice, but they're missing our helmet from the 1979 season. It was only used one year, thankfully. I sent the helmet site these pictures from my junior-year yearbook to provide documentation, but they never added this helmet.

I don't know about the guys who played for the Akron Pros back in the 20's, but I think the first Zip to score a touchdown in the NFL was TE Chris Kelly when he played for the replacement Browns during the strike of '87. Can someone confirm?James Black only played on the special teams...I believe.
