  1. Hey Skip...your info is way out of date. http://es.pn/2jbds7V
  2. Two new head coaches with Akron ties will coach their first games this evening. Congratulations to Nick Dials and Lamont Paris. Nick Dials story http://bit.ly/2i484Qe game video link for 7:30pm ET tip http://bit.ly/2yNJJZj Lamont Paris story http://bit.ly/2zAAEAg game video link for 9:00pm ET tip http://bit.ly/2ezV06D
  3. You are thinking of the north end of the floor which has storage areas and a hallway behind the wall. The wall in the picture is at the south end. Behind the south end wall currently are concessions stands and the team shop.
  4. Question by lilroodude "When is that wall getting torn down and floor-to-rafters seating being added?" Answer...When your check for $5M arrives.
  5. Several fellow zn.o members have texted me asking about the corner board in the back ground of the picture. The corner board was full of numbers just to check for placement. The board is set to show the following "team" stats going from top to bottom. Both teams stats are shown side-by-side: FG FG% 3FG 3FG% FT FT% BLK AST STL TO D-RB O-RB Score
  6. But note they are only in the 3rd half!
  7. Fabric canopy covering of the underside of the score board has been installed.
  8. Miami's Pei Lin was the biggest scoring factor and that was totally expected. No one in the MAC can come even close to her on the 1M and 3M boards. She will sweep the MAC Championships in those events again this year. Miami has also improved their free style performance from last year. Zips still very strong in the relays. Agree with you that Nogaj is a great addition to the team.
  9. One section of the new scorer/press tables. There will three of these on each side of the floor.
  10. Northeast corner board viewed from track on the west side of the arena
  11. Northeast corner board as viewed from the floor
  12. View from top row of the west (chairback) upper bowl
  13. Scoreboard pictures from 10am Monday morning. View from the track looking to the southeast.
  14. Brian keeps reloading with quality incoming freshman. I am very impressed with newcomer Paulina Nogaj from Poland. Paulina won the 100 Free in her first collegiate swim meet.
  15. First practice was Monday.
  16. Scoreboard partially assembled and elevated off the floor. Board can now be lowered and raised to fit the needs of the athletic department. MBB first practice went off as scheduled.
  17. The federal Prosecutors will skate by the small stuff like a donor picking up the cost of a car for a Toledo basketball player. They are trying to shut down the big guys. This first set of indictments are to get the small guys to turn on the big prey. Watch the employees of Nike and Adidas and the assistant coaches turn on their coaching fraternity to get reduced sentences. Here is one of the biggest target: http://bit.ly/2yreu1I
  18. Nothing brings out a crowd like an 0-2 start.
  19. Aloha....we are white going left to right.
  20. I bet John Groce will!
  21. Just out of curiosity, How did you get access to the trademark "Zipsnation"?
  22. Don't get ahead of the story. Most liability insurance policies for large institutions require the policy holder to follow nationally recognized procedures for employment in certification required positions. Not sure if the institution is covered if the employee lied or faked the certification. If KSU failed to ask for certification or verify that they received a certification, it may not be covered by an insurance policy. This will take a few years to unwind.
  23. Who do you think will have a higher non-conference schedule RPI.....Duquesne or Akron?
  24. " I wonder if students even know he is UA alum." I watched him play at Akron U (sorry guys but that's how Jason refers to UA in interviews). I don't remember him being an alumnus of UA. When did he finish his degree?
  25. Noah has never said he would be a graduate transfer. He will finish his business undergraduate degree at UNLV. This is a typical undergraduate transfer we have seen hundreds of times. I don't know why there is any confusion about sitting out a year. FYI: The real story to watch is whether Antino can graduate from UA in a few weeks and become a graduate transfer to New Mexico.
