There is no difference in officials by league.. Almost every midwest basketball referree who works MAC games also works Horizon games. They all come from the same pool.

Are we confusing the Taiwan based Super Basketball League (SBL) that Zeke has joined with the bigger and more lucrative mainland based China Basketball Association? I am happy that Zeke has found a team for this season but I am almost sure the salaries mentioned in the article are not applicable to the SBL.

On the other hand, it should give Q an advantage at the offensive end. I think it gives an advantage to any player on the perimeter that has a quick first move towards the basket. It should help the better teams and really scare the weak defensive teams who rely on touch, push, grab and hold maneuvers to keep up in contact with the quicker players.

It would be hard to get George out of the JAR. That premium quality office with no windows is a treasure. Who would want an office in Buchtel Hall with a panoramic view of the campus.

Beware of the new road and exit closures put into place today by ODOT. They change the flow of traffic to and from the Q. They are especially acute for travelers coming north on I-77 from Akron. The biggest impact inbound will be the closure of access to Ontario St. from the E 9th St. exit of I-77 north bound. All traffic from that exit must turn right and go south on E. 9th St. Outbound after the game, traffic southbound on Ontario must detour to the E. 9th St entrance to I-77 South. Great job by the OU Athletic Department's marketing group. We have complained many times on our board about UA students wearing tOSU gear to our games. Could they have picked a worse picture?

A little off topic but I couldn't resist posting a comment on the Kansas Jayhawk recruiting class. From the Kansas City Star; " The Jayhawks signed 17 junior-college transfers in its 25-member class. They came from junior colleges from across the country, from California to Mississippi, Arizona to New York with Kansas and Iowa in between. After a 1-11 season in Weis’ first year, the Jayhawks needed a talent upgrade — immediately." I think the team would see a greater impact if Weis and Ianello resigned and KU went after high school recruits.
