Every year seems like everyone gets overly excited about a new player last year it was BJ Gladden now it's Ivey. Ok so he's athletic and can jump reminds me a little of Deji except one thing Deji could actually shoot the ball.

I was wondering the same thing especially the WM game. Aaron Jackson played well against them.

Trust me there's no need to show me any background on Jake I have been a Zip fan for sometime. Yes Jakes background is respectable but its just that, a background.

Oh yay!! Kretzer did the same as last game 6 pts in the first half and 0 in the second. Give it up for "the little things" He played more minutes than every player! Great win for the zips tonight!!!

Why do people keep saying Kretzer does little things that don't show up in the box score? You can not win games if someone is playing 30-35 minutes and can't make the box score! I'm willing to bet that Reggie is probably not liking that every time Jakes name is mentioned his is to like they are Siamese twins. They are clearly two different players, one has showed he can produce and one has not. At least not this year.

I would also like to know how you justify playing Jake 31 minutes? He scored 0 points his "little things" are not paying off! He can give up 15 minutes of his playing time to Aaron Jackson, BJ Gladden, and even Deji at this point, who is one of the leading scores on a consistent basis and still only get's 15 to 21 minutes compared to Jakes 26 to 31 minutes!

Why would KD have Antino, Deji, and Aaron Jackson on the bench with 1:42 left? They are the players that made big shots to come back from being down 10.

My point exactly Jake did play 33 min in the game against CMU and Reggie played 22. Reggie had 31 points and was NOT in the game at the end where we almost gave it away! Jake was in the game and had 3 points. I'm sorry but at the end of a close game you got to go with the guy that's given you 31 pts. Physical presence, hustle, and defensive skills are not going to win a game at that moment but big time shots will. I also have to disagree with the defensive skills so far this year he's been getting beat.

I know as zips fans we are used to relying on Kretzer, but has anyone checked stats? The younger guys have been putting up the same or more numbers with a lot less time on the floor.
