So if Can't moved to the Big East or something where do you think that would put us?

This is what bothers me about this basketball team and this is why you will not see the fans flock to the JAR. Can't is supposed to win, and they do. We are supposed to win, and we piss down our leg. Until we can seal the deal, it's really going to be difficult for fans to get too excited about this team.

I feel a sweep is in our future

Linhart needs to stop shooting the basketball period. He throws brick after brick. He's not an offensive player. I was hoping we would win this game for the sake of confidence. This is exactly what we're up against with Can't and once again athleticism was the difference in this ballgame.

The same fans on the board who claim OSU ruins things for us are rooting for Can't?? The school is minutes away from us, and every bit of success they get is bad for us. It takes away media attention. It takes away recruits. It wouldn't bother me one bit if Can't dropped sports all together. With that said, I hope they get destroyed today on national tv. Of course, the only thing bad when Can't loses is it lessens the chance of Christian leaving the school. But anyway, Go Gaels!

Please help me understand...why does the #3 seed matter? If you don't win the MAC regular season title, then all that really matters, IMHO, is being at least the #4 seed...i.e., the first round bye. I believe the Zips will achieve this with 1 more MAC win. Of course I want the Zips to win all of their remaining games, but I'll breathe much easier when they've guaranteed themselves no lower than the #4 seed.Winning the MAC regular season guarantees at minimum a berth in the NIT. The #2, #3, and #4 seeds in the MAC tournament, to me, are all of equal value to the team.It matters big time. Look at the side of the 4 seed and look at the side of the three seed. Would you really want to see Can't State before the championship game? Look at how it worked for Miami last year. They were in the same situation to slide through while we had Can't beating us up in the semi's. By the fourth quarter of the final game, we were dead tired. I see a similar scenario if Can't and Ohio would have to play each other. Going into the tournament as underdogs and in the 3 seed would be a potent formula for the zips.

On that note, go over to miamihawktalk. They are pretty much admitting that a busload of Rowdies outdid their fans on their home court! When Miami fans admit it, they had to have done a good job. Athletic department needs to keep doing this for big road games. In a conference like the MAC, 50 or so rowdie students can be enough to neutralize a hostile court.

And to think they say we complained last year, and this was only a regular season game. You really didn't expect them to admit they lost to us right?

Not sure I agree with this. We need to save Wood for the conference. This game is a glorified exhibition as our at-large hopes in the NCAA and the NIT for that matter are shot.

I think NIU was just the beginning of a long rest of the season. I think we'll be way out of it once the season ends.

bardo, quade, and conyers are complete no shows. Bardo is probably the project out of the three but is he really going to get that much better? Cedric is a shadow of his old self. Then you got the Wood situation and you got Dials limping around. McKnees was a one hit wonder against Miami and then you got 6'7 Linhart who cannot finish a dunk. This team is a mess.

Folks, this is next year's team minus Dials and we cannot beat one of the worst teams in the conference at home.

Well we can pretty much crown Can't the champions this year. Damn We're gonna get a realllly good preview of what we got next year. Just about every senior is unaccounted for.

I saw the second half of this game. This is not our year. We just do not have the help inside to counter Tillman/Williams or hamin cheese and Can't. This team is not athletic enough, and we cannot score when the game is on the line. Unfortunately, athleticism is something we cannot fix.Central handled us, and we had no answer for their big man. All teams have to do is shut down our perimeter game and that ruins our offense.I hate to say this, but either OU or Can't will be dancing in March. Gag me

Difference of the game last night.....Can't was home and we were not. Play the game in Cleveland and it is a toss up. Play it in the JAR and we win. I said we were not winning this one and I kinda knew it at halftime.Don't worry, they have it comming

Here is what I want to see happen.I am hoping first of all that we can take care of business against the west now that we are headed in that direction. If we can get it done, I would like to see Dambrot give Bardo and McKnight more minutes. I think we can without seeing too much of a dropoff. By the time we get back to the east and then the tournament, hopefully we can get these guys feeling more comfortable. We need to play it strategically because I don't think this team has peaked yet.
