Wow, great news! JD has mentioned Odofin in his press conference, but not the other two. I hope the DL is rotated freely so each of these guys get some reps and they all stay relatively fresh during the game. Of course, the guys who are making plays need to stay in the game as much as possible too.

sorry cap't not trying to start a flame.just disapointed about this.the good thing is alott of younger guys get some playing time.with the guys we have coming back should help our depth at dl,and give us some more size up front.we should be able to rotate two deep now on the dl-line if all these guys are healthy.

He is done for the year. It's a miracle that Odofin is going to play at all. He is full of metal rods and other assorted hardware from his accident.

Hasan is ready to play this week. I wouldnt expect to see too much of Odifin. Because he didnt practice much this week, but that could have been because they dont want to risk an injury. But Odifin will for sure play this week. I havent been on the board much lately so i dont know is this was discussed, but didnt Shawn Lemon look good last week?

It's kinda hard when the staff was raving about Bain as the greatest thing since sliced bread.Now we are supposed to turn of the excitement as well as the curiosity?Just go away eh? Another instance in a long line of the best players we land not seeing the field (for more than one year anyway in Harvey's case). Definitely the most frustrating thing about our football program in my opinion.

We needed some DL guys to step up with all the injuries, but also since the other team ran an option offense. Lemon answered the call.

Why does it seem somehow verboten on the board for (1) all of us to ask about the mystery behind Bain's status, and (2) for those who represent themselves as bring "in the loop" to discuss what's going on with the kid. Bain has a "Reactive Stress Fracture" and will likely not play this year. Thats the best I can give you, because thats all I know. Yes, I have a very good source for this info, but this injury is not a simple thing like a sprain or twisted knee.

One thing is particular I am wondering. I am pretty sure I saw Bain on the sidelines in steet clothes at Syracuse from my end zone seat. I have not seen him since. Has anyone even seen Bain lately? I understand he's NOT playing....just want to know how close this situation is to a total washout.BTW, if the guys available keep playing with the heart they showed yesterday, I think the Bain obsession will subside quickly

i thought our d-line played well yesterday.i wish we would scrap the 3-3-5,but we are stuck with it.i don't ubndersatnd why we don't blitz more.there is no way you can rush three guys to get to the qb.hopefully we stay healty ,but now we are in trouble at rb.

JD has received warranted criticism for having a large "fall out" rate, particularly in the 2006 class. But as I continue to watch one unit of 2008's team perform admirably, week to week, against very good competition, I have to say that JD deserves a LOT of credit for recruiting this special group of offensive linemen. Mark Jackson was a "fall out" at the position, but by and large the staff has made very good decisions in this area in terms of recruiting (OK, Estrada hasn't exactly panned out, but we don't really need him at this point). It's time this is recognized.
